So the backlash towards Woodson should be a nothing burger then? Lol...right.

About 15 years ago, I watched our CEO personally walk the CFO out of our building. It later came out that the CEO asked the CFO to pay a utility bill on one of the warehouse properties we were utilizing. The CFO stated that wasn't his job and told the boss to have one of the admins do it. Sucked for the CFO because about 10 months later, the company sold for almost $300 million and enacted a bunch of stock appreciation and equity the CEO had built in for tenured employees. The CFO got nothing.

Who said it wasn't petty? But disobeying your boss, especially over something so trivial, is going to get you fired more times than not...especially when your job level is a low as Adam Howard's. Welcome to the real world kid!
-
I don't really care what Leal and Galloway were doing, that's not my job to worry about. Just find it hilarious that so many are defending a low level employee who was fired for clearly being insubordinate. Guess I can't say I'm shocked though.

Too many people have agendas to think logically. If you were 23-24 and fresh in the corporate world and your boss told you to go pick up the documents he sent to the printer and you told him, "that's not my job"...what the hell do you think would happen?
-
Perhaps there was too much horseplay going on in the locker room and the two supposed leaders weren’t holding guys accountable, possibly even part of the problem? Or he wanted his two leaders spread out to mentor other players instead of being right next to each other? I mean jeez there’s numerous reasons why this move could have been prompted. Pretty alarming that a low level staffer would risk his job over a simple request over something so trivial.
-
So if your boss tells you to do something and you ***** about it for 3 weeks before actually doing it, that’s not undermining his authority? Good lord.
-
This isn't undermining your boss? What am I missing?
-
This applies to every single workplace environment in America. If the owner or head of a company tells a junior level employee to do something and that said junior level employee gets caught talking s*** behind the back of the owner to another subordinate, he/she is going to be reprimanded, if not outright terminated. Something tells me this wasn't the first time this happened either. Adam Howard isn't Kenya or Walsh or Yasir having a disagreement with the head boss over a scouting report or something of that nature.
-
Lol. You may not have used the word "undermining, and likely for a reason, but what you just described is what undermining a superior entails.
-
? Aren't you the poster that claimed Howard was fired because Woodson told him to do something and Howard didn't because he didn't agree with it? And then went behind Woodson's back and started complaining about it to other staffers? How is that not undermining someone, especially one that is your boss?
-
Yeah, Dane Fife was so right that he had multiple job offers lined up after his termination. Just kidding, he’s working as a consultant at a risk management firm.
-
Long term ramifications? Lol, like what? If this season falls apart because a junior level staffer was fired for undermining the boss then this team was never very good to begin with.

It’s all agenda driven. Some of these guys are going to be stuck between a rock and a hard place sooner than later. -

He’s expanded his game. Handles and vision way better. Rebounded the ball well against a big and physical Tennessee team. -

My personal belief is that the majority of these numbers are significantly overinflated and/or paid out in installments over a set amount of years. At least when it comes to what you hear collectives are willing to pay. So if JuJu were to really get $2.5 million it's probably contingent on: a) him enrolling at IU and staying at IU b) paid out in installments until his eligibility is up I don't think he's getting a lump sum up front and then expecting a new NIL deal the next year. Now I certainly believe that some schools promise all this stuff and some players truly believe they are going to get money that's never been contractualized and that's a big reason for the portal growing year by year, but when I hear "X and X is making so much here" I typically take it with a grain of salt and would be surprised if they actually see half of the figure being thrown out. TAMU had the #1 recruiting class two seasons ago and rumored to have spent $6-8mil alone on the freshman. More than half of that class has transferred out and many of those recruits have claimed they only saw a fraction of what was promised and in some instances no money at all. -

I know how exhibitions work, didn't exclude the board freaking out in the first half when they shot 0-11 from 3. I just know that you and your parade of losers would have extended the FMW thread 10+ pages had they lost that game Sunday.
