If you can get 17-18 ppg out of Tucker and another 13-14 out of your 2 guard you're going to want a guy like Enright facilitating and distributing the ball.

I'm not "dissing" anybody, good Lord. He's good player more than capable of playing at the P5 level. But if your offense at a B10 school is tailored around Bennett Stirtz dribbling the ball out for 25 seconds and taking a shot....you aren't going to last long in this league.

Yes a 6th man/role player on a title contending team. There's nothing wrong with that, every title contending team has a player(s) that fills those roles. I don't care that he dominated Miami, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, or Missouri. You aren't winning a B10 championship if he's the best player on your team. I've been pretty consistent on that. Not sure what dominating a 7-24 Miami team does for winning a conference title? Hopefully McCollum goes to Iowa and we can put this discussion to bed.

P5 competition all year lol? Drake played one tournament team during the regular season and had one of his least efficient games of the year. 7-24 Miami was P5 in name only, they lost to Charleston Southern and Mt St Mary's for crying out loud. They sucked lol

Played a great game last night, never said he wasn't a good player. Dribbling the ball around and taking a shot with less than 5 seconds left on the shot clock ain't going to fly in the B10 during a 20 game conference slate. I stand by what I said, nice player but nowhere near a star for a team expected to compete for a B10 championship.

He's a much better playmaker and more skilled than Anthony Leal though not nearly as big. He's not going to guard a 6'6 wing. But he's tough, scrappy, will dive for a loose ball, take a charge, pretty much do whatever you ask of him. Will never be a big time scorer and don't think he wants to be. He'd be a locker room leader and has familiarity with DeVries system, likely a 20-25 mpg guy. He had a great quote I saw when searching his name on X and to summarize it was something like, "I'd much rather assist than score a basket because two happy people is better than one happy person"...something to that effect.

Depending on who DD pairs with Tucker out on the perimeter, might not need a whole bunch of scoring out of your PG. You do however need somebody who can facilitate and get those scorers the ball.

B12 media deal is better than the ACC media deal. That, and the ACC is 3-4 years from being done if not sooner.

Wish list Nijel Pack—-K state/Miami Conor Enright—-Drake/DePaul Kevin Overton—-Drake/Texas Tech And then obviously some of his former West Virginia players. We know his son is coming already, would like to see them pursue Jonathon Powell, Sencire Harris, and Amani Hansberry. Jayden Stone is a guy who played at Detroit Mercy and averaged 20 ppg his junior year and then transferred to West Virginia but sat out the entire season due to injury.

That would apply for Sencire Harris and Amani Hansberry as well I would think who followed Frazier from Illinois. I’ve seen some WVU fans clamor for Frazier to get the head coaching job.

You’re way overthinking this. He was told by somebody who knows somebody who plays golf with some high end donor that he was willing to put up money to get Brad Stevens and never latched off that. It has nothing to do with DeVries and everything to do with Dolson not being able to close a deal that was never on the table. Thats why much of this board is upset tonight. They were conditioned to believe something that wasn’t real.

Again, if you thought IU was pulling a top 10 coach you just haven’t been paying attention to anything…especially the college basketball landscape the last several years.

I honestly think Tucker’s health will play a huge role in his dad’s trajectory. He stays healthy, IU is going to be fun as hell to watch next year and that should really energize those with reservations.
