I will say with Sampson... I heard, and idk if it's true...forget where I heard it. Maybe it was Hoosier hysterics lol..but Sampson thought the candy stripes were dumb..? And he planned on getting rid of them 3-4 years down the line once he started winning. Anyone else heard that? If that's true, good thing he was gone. We love the stripes.

Sampson would of killed it with Indiana talent. Wed probably have 2 more titles. You could see he was already doing it...we had our guy. Should of told the NCAA NOTHING like all the other cheaters who get no trouble.

It's very concerning how far away we are. I haven't even looked at this tucker kids highlights because., I agree, we are so far away from it even mattering (Liam, come..don't come...doesn't matter.). Screw Leal and his comments, I was there at Hoosier hysteria, I saw the faces of guys my age in the crowd, nobody agrees with you Leal, your misguided and blinded by finally playing and getting your sisters debt paid off.. none of these players even matter because as a program we are such a joke, poor coached, irrelevant.... We don't have another trayce coming through the door, and JHS, and.... Guess what? It doesn't even matter.. because coaching matters. Coaching > talent every time in college basketball long term... because at a big program, the coach will naturally attract players. You got to be a COACH. I liked the idea of the Archie hire because...you never know, if it worked, great...25 year run ahead of us. It didn't, and what now? We are stuck with a lame dude who doesn't even know recruits names and plays a absolute horrific play style. It's not enjoyable to watch at all for me, watching these other teams have movement on offense..it's shameful what my hoosiers are. I hate this current situation. Buying a team because theres absolutely nothing developing. It's terrible.

I love IU basketball more than anything besides God and family..I check message boards 40 times a day, since I've been 10 years old and I'm 33 now. But it's time Purdue wins one. This is a good group of kids, painter does things excellently the right way, they play a fun style. As much as I love the IU vs Purdue rivalry and I talk crap here in Kokomo Indiana to all the Purdue fans around here...I want them to win this one. Never have I wanted Purdue to win, but..yes. especially vs UConn. Feels like the good guys vs bad guys..Purdue being the good guys. To me..:)

Absolutely don't expect cliff O here from Rutgers..but man he's a hell of a player isn't he? On a good team I could see him really being a asset. He could definitely play rotation minutes for a top 10 team in the country. Love his game. Wonder why he's leaving with the good recruiting class coming in? Next year could be a good year for them..

What happens here in 2-3 weeks when it is obvious that woody isn't gonna field a good team using the portal. Keep him and let him fail, or move on to a coach that wants the job? Or are we beyond moving on, even if it becomes painfully obvious this isn't gonna work?

I love the tournament tho. These games just feel like prime time. And these are the crappiest ones of the whole tournament. What a beautiful sporting event.

Can't say I blame him for that. He played (a little) here 1 year. Got to experience playing for Indiana. Can't blame him for wanting to be the main man starter again. Gotta wonder if he was encouraged to leave tho.

Haven't seen anything official with sparks. Kinda confused why he'd leave if it was his dream to play here. Perhaps maybe thought he'd get to play more than 5 a game. Idk
