All you have to do is look at all the blue blood jobs openings the last few years and see that they aren't getting the elite established coaches. UK had to go with their 4th or 5th options and Duke and UNC just went with a former player who was an assistant coach. I think anyone who thinks we can get an established elite coach will be disappointed

I know Davis wasn't actually fired but he resigned in a season where he got to the second round of the tournament. I would say that Davis was probably more told to resign so it doesn't look as bad as getting fired.

I am to the point where I will still watch every game because that is what I have done for 50 years. This team is one of the hardest IU teams for me to watch and get any enjoyment that I can remember in those 50 years. I guess I am just fillable to buy on that this portal class could change how Woodson's team plays but it is still the same style we have seen the last 4 years. They play with no passion or enthusiasm and just goes through the motion. They are like robots out there and only play for themselves and not as a unit

Every team buys players. Who is Dickinson you are talking about because we never recruited him. Also he got players like Renault, MM, Tucker, and a host of very good portal players. He also got a top 100 in state players in Sisley and there is no real proof that we missed out on Mullins.

You can only pick the games you know you have and if we go 25-6 that would be a great season. We could go 19-12 but win 6 games in the tournament and that be 25 wins. Would that be a disappointment.

Get use to it because that is what college basketball has become. If it was up to me there wouldn't be any portal or NIL and conference realignment but that is where college sports are at.
