Actually I am not attacking them at all but don't understand why some on here takes what they say as gospel. Most on here yesterday just thought Woodson was actually going to lose his job after OSU just because a few says it's in the works.

To me they have been wrong a lot more than being right. I hope these guys are right this time but it seems like people are gullible on here

My question is why does everybody just assumes these guys actually know anything and there were actually these discussions going on.

Us IU fans know what is going on here but say we won at NW so that would make us 15-5 and 6-3. From the outside people would think why would you fire a coach with that record. Also we would be in the top 6 of the conference.

They will have signs saying IU please keep Woodson

Whoever the next coach is he better do a great job of hiring quality assistant coaches. I don't want 3 guys who are there just to recruit. I want guys who know how to teach the game and can develop players

So our new coach is coaching high school basketball

I have to wonder if something happened to the team internally right before the Iowa game. I thought the previous 3 games we played better and actually played hard in those games. It all disappeared in the Iowa and UI game

I think they should pick one of us on this board to be the interim coach because we probably know more than the 3 assistants on the bench.

Listening to DD today and he said he got 3 text last night from a former player, a former golf coach and two friends who sits a couple of rows behind the bench. The former player was a player that DD has never met but did say he won while at IU. This player just went off on this team and the culture around this program. Called the players entitled and lazy and only plays for themselves. DD read the whole conversation between the two but can't remember everything he said. I was trying to figure out who this player is, he said he was an African American and not from this area of the country. If DD didn't know him so it would have to be a player before DD got there or after he left IU. I would have a hard time thinking this was a player during Woodson's playing career because they would possibly friends. If it was after he left then I can't think of many who won much after he left. I wonder if it was a player from 2002 because they actually won something. The former golf coach was at the Bahamas tournament and said the players were pretty much trying to run the huddle and not listening to the coaches. He also stated that Rice is a child and can't win with him. The two friends said the vibe around the UI game was a strange. He said walking into AH had no juice and just walking around the concourse there wasn't any either. Also that inside AH right before the game there wasn't your normal atmosphere.

How many times in the last few years have we seen violence happen at youth sporting events towards coaches, refs and fans. If you don't think that happens a lot then you aren't paying attention
