Right now I am more concerned about getting relevant again over getting where we use to be. Of course winning a championship is the ultimate goal but we need to get back to just finishing near the top of the conference first. Then we need to get in the tournament every year and then making deep runs in the tournament

I really hope I am wrong on this and Brad is named the next coach at Indiana University I am happy to eat some crow on this because it would definitely make IU basketball relevant again. By the way I would want ketchup with my crow.

I probably didn't make myself clear which is normal for me Do I think we have talked to Brad, yes Do I think it is as close as some are making it out to be, no. Do I think he is coming, maybe. To me if the things about the meeting with AAU coaches and what was said is true then I would think that could be validated and reported by national media

Every national.media guy and even local Indy.media people think we would call but think we are nuts if we think he is coming to IU

I understand everything just fine. The point is if things are actually going on that is being posted on here wouldn't you think that national college basketball media would be hearing the same thing.

My point was if all of this stuff is actually going on then the national media would know about all of this and report it.

I thought the date was 2/26 so why would each day be significant

That is my point that a lot this Stevens stuff is just message board rumors and nothing more

He said you have to call him but nothing about if he would take it My thing is if all of this stuff is happening with Stevens then why has none of the national media caught wind of it. You would think a Rothstein or Goodman would be all over it.

Just listened to Fran Fracilla on the radio and they were talking about McCollum He said McCollum reminded him of a young John Beilein with how they play and the path they have taken in their coaching career

For me if it gets passed Stevens or May we should hire McCollum. I know most don't like Dackich but he said he watched Drake last night and said they were the best coached team he had seen this year

Since we were in Miami yesterday maybe they were interviewing Pat Riley or Eric Spolstra

Actually the all star break starts in a couple of days so there would be plenty of time to have a meeting

Kind of funny we have like 4 new people this week coming in with new info and then we have another new guy coming in to argue those points.

My theory is that every day there will be a new twist that will keep people coming to the board. I think the people who run this site keep getting new people to come and say they are insiders and have all of this new info just for clicks.

Just listened to Osterman on the radio and they asked him what % would you give that Brad Stevens will be the coach. He said around 5%, so I guess he didn't hear about the meeting in Miami LOL!

I wonder if we get selected for the NIT would we accept the bid. With the coaching change and players entering the portal we might not have enough players to play.
