I wouldn't say they came out flat since they got up 17-9
-
Wasn't the 3/17 a joke since it is St. Patrick's Day which would represent Brad Stevens since he is with the Celtics
-
I think I have figured out why Stevens was in Charlotte watching ND today. He is there to bring Shrewsbury with him to IU as an assistant coach and both of their sons are coming as well.
-
The more I hear national guys make fun of IU thinking Stevens is a possibility makes hope the we shock the world. Today Mike Decoursey was talking about the job opening and said IU fans need to realize that the fantasy was never going to happen. He said he doesn't deal with fantasy but reality

How much is the basketball program getting in revenue sharing LOL!

I just don't understand how some people can't grasp the college landscape of today. I see if we have to hire a mid major it shows how far down IU has come but I say that is how far college basketball has changed. Also I don't see much difference in coaching a D2 program than being a coach at schools like Hofstra, Northeastern and Buffalo. Low majors like these are not much difference then running a D2 program. If you can build a program and have great success that can be duplicated at a higher level. I wonder how the fans bases st Villanova, UCONN and Alabama thought when they hired coaches from Hofstra, Northeastern and Buffalo

You don't need to get 5 stars to compete at a high level. How many 5 stars do Houston, Auburn it Iowa St have
-
Most of the coaches who have been under coach K hasn't done that well as a HC
-
Weber was the coach at UI when they went to the final 4 not Self
-
So has Syracuse and Villanova. Miami and FSU just hired guys with no college HC experience
-
Because he is an alumni and his season is over. That same day they showed numerous former UNC players at their game on Saturday

Brad Stevens went from working at Lilly to Butler to the Celtics. To me that is a bigger leap than what McCollum would have to do.
-
No one really knows anything so take it with a grain of salt
-
Not me I would take him above most of the candidates besides Stevens and a couple of others.
-
There is an article on ESPN.com but I could only read a little bit of it because it is behind a paywall. The main thing was where are all the big time coaches. It was talking about why Indiana other big time programs are having trouble getting top tier coaches to come to their schools. Also said if Texas and Villanova comes open they probably will have the same problem.
-
Why would you be unhappy to say this because this would be a very good hire. If all the realistic candidates he would be on the top of my list
-
I am a very happy and content person and I am not negative. Just because I don't believe the rumors about Stevens does not make me a miserable person
-
My mistake on typing it was DD
-
Typo DD
-
Meant DD
-
Take it for what is worth DD said he talked to someone in college basketball and said that a deal is done. They are just waiting to announce it after season. He didn't say who the coach was going to be but did say it wasn't Brownell. DD said Dr. Ronk is the one pushing for Brownell and he even pushed for him after Sampson was fired.

How is that unlike every poster on here
-
The more I read and hear about McCollum I say sign him up and let him do his job. On the basketball court he will be better than most of the candidates on here. If we have all of this money put it towards getting the best staff available and administrators to do the portal. If college basketball is becoming like professional sports then build a pro organization.

From everything that has been said about Dolson on how he is keeping everything quiet and no one is talking then where does these rumors come from. A lot of them are probably coming from agents who has agendas and getting their clients raises. If Dolson is keeping this quiet then most rumors are probably bogus.

I wouldn't call Wade a big fish
