Some will always see the negative in things where others will look for the positive. To me it makes for a better life and happiness to look at the positives.

That is why I said the pieces have to fit together and play as a team. Listening to Dust May on the radio today and stated that his team had no clicks and were never divided. He never had to worry about the team not holding others accountable. If you just look at the roster you wouldn't think of a final four team but was because of those intangibles. I just can't understand why you are panicking already for no reason. KSU had two players on their roster on July 1st and 8 months later was playing on the elite 8.

But the guy from VCU seems pretty athletic but to some because he doesn't average huge numbers so he wouldn't fit. Also Smart was very athletic but came out of JC

Iy is just funny how you are just stressing out over this stuff. Show me one player we are recruiting who has committed to another school. Also why just look at just stats and where a kid is transferring from. I would say a lot of the players playing in the final four wasn't a top recruit. We aren't trying to put an all star team together but putting a team together than can play together.

Wonder how some of these fans reacted when RMK brought in guys like Steve Eyl, Joe Hilman, Kreigh Smith, to go along with Garrett and Smart

What we as fans have to think about is using the portal isn't like picking an all star team. The coaches need to look at more than just stats when looking at players in the portal. It makes the job harder for coaches because they don't have the time to do a great background check on these players.

The same Schedrick that put up 15/13 in their tournament game. You might want to check your blood pressure often because it appears you are letting this portal stuff stress you out.

Sounds like some of the big men for SDSU

I thought most players cried when they didn't have better alternatives and had to go to Purdue

My dad grew up in the same town than John Cryer's mom in Lewisville Indiana. Went to church with John's grandfather. My second grade teacher was married to John's uncle

Lack of overall elite talent with athletic ability -
I thought I read that Cryer was looking at Houston

Not on April 3, if we don't have any commits on July 3rd freak out

Who cares what pre season rankings since it is 7 months before the first game. Only 1 final four team was in the pre season top 25 that came out right before the season.

Baylor had two starters on their championship team from Presbyterian and UNC Asheville Some of you guys need to relax and get outside and get some fresh air. Step away from the portal news because some of you are taking this way to serious
-
We haven't even lost any portal guys yet. None of the guys we have went after has committed elsewhere.
-
Might want to take a break from the portal talk because it seems to be bothering you so much.

Go get him, coach

I think MSU and Purdue will be really good

The thing about UCONN is that until I was in my mid 20's they were an after thought and was not a good program at all.

Not me, I have seen 3 of our championships

General WBB Thread

Offenses in the men's game was better in the 80's and 90's over what we see today. The scoring and shooting percentage is lower today plus the pace is slower. Even with a 30 second clock and the 3 pointer you would think would increase offense -
Derozen doesn't play for San Antonio, he now plays for the Bulls. He started with the Raptors so he used his mid range game well before playing for Popovich.

I have been watching basketball for over 50 years. Just stating that teams today doesn't run the kind of motion that RMK ran or at all. I loved the NBA for years and have lost interest in it the last 10 or so years. I still watch a lot of the Pacers game and have seen enough to know they run more sophisticated offense than they do in high school.
