Thinking a year ahead about recruiting. If Mgbako, Reneau both come back + Mcneeley I can’t see a world where Banks doesn’t hit the portal. I hope it doesn’t happen, he will be a top level player as an upperclassmen. Only hope is trusting Coach Woodson’s words, “get old and stay old”

Agree with that - really think getting a guy over 6’11 will be first priority in portal. Reneau, Mgbako, and even Queen if he commits, IU will still need a big-big.

There was a play in transition where 4/5 IU defenders had marked their man. Gunn did not and a Harvard player popped a 3 in Gunn’s face, except Gunn never looked at or saw his guy shooting - instead Gunn rotated to L wing to double(?). I mean literally shuffled right past Harvard player shooting a 3 and didn’t recognize it until after he shot. I wish I could find the clip. Every CBB program in country should play that film and say “this is what we will not tolerate”

Yes. IU football could absolutely dismantle your career. A guy like Candle or Alabama OC who’s been floated around on X would be taking a huge gamble with their own careers coming to IU. You’re behind the 8-ball in every measurable program attribute, competing with Penn St, OSU, MICH yearly. -facilities, support staff, NIL, recruiting area, expectations Here’s a Q for you all: What is IU’s 5 year ceiling as a program? .500 and 1 year in Top 25?

Fumbling on two transfers this offseason, Mgbako not playing to rating, Newton injury, Gunn not hitting water falling out of a boat. I don't know haha a bunch of reasons why. The most maddening and valid is having a stretch 5 who can shoot and declaring him to be TJD remake.
