I wanted BF as much as anyone, but I've been high on Gabe for a long time. A sophomore Cupps, with a year of tutelage from a 6th year, very talented and physical XJ, might make it very difficult for anyone to come in and take his spot ,for those 3 years. Not sour grapes, in regards to Boogie, just know GC is a winner!

Still don't think he'd pick his announcement on the day of HH, to announce for UK. Seems like a great kid and family. They respect Woody and staff too much to rain on anyone's parade.

Agree. As much as I would love to get Boogie, a sophomore Cupps, a senior Trey, and a freshman Liam doesn't sound too shabby either. CJ, Kaleb, Sparks, Newton, and possibly Malik. Those are 8 very good players. I still think we get Boogie, Queen, and a surprise pickup.

Agree. I just really feel cautiously optimistic where this program is heading. I would love to get Boogie as much as anyone, but I know Gabe will have a year under his belt. If we land Liam today and Boogie soon, then we are officially a player at the table again!

Throw a Brinks truck at a big name, and give him the keys to the whole thing! Take your loss with Allen, and don't let big name say no. Bloomington deserves/craves a solid football program. It's so damn beautiful in the fall, the rest of the country needs to see it! There's nothing lacking (alumni, fanbase, $,donors, etc.), besides a complete commitment from decision makers. Our other programs are making Bloomington a destination for these highly ranked kids, why can't a top coach do the same?
