  1. As much as I love Malik, he needs to have better recognition in the post. The skip pass to the the weak side, usually has at least one guy open. Or kick it back out, and reestablish position. He's second on the team in assists, however he has almost twice as many to's as anyone else. He could improve his 1:1 a/to ratio, by not putting the ball on the floor in so much in traffic. Plus, he is key in us having more open 3 pt opportunities. Love his attitude and skillset(and footwork), but improved court awareness will do wanders for his post game. Same could be said about CJ on the perimeter.

Wholeheartedly agree! Wasn't that long ago, Coach's and GM's were salivating over a kid like Kofi Cockburn. Someone needs to draft Edey, and flip the bird to the opponent, and say I'll take my 65-70% 2's, over your 25-35% 3's. Work more on his mobility and strength to somewhat guard the perimeter (he was a hockey player), because not many guys are going to handle him on the block. Someone needs to take the plunge!

It's a shame that the game has changed so much, that guys like Oscar, Edey, and Kofi aren't considered prospects for the NBA anymore.
  4. So, it's ok to hire a football coach who's 62, but our basketball coach is too old? Make it make sense!

  6. You do realize in the business world, CEO's and managers, leave positions all the time. The new leaders aren't just hiring new personnel. It's their job to keep things running smoothly, or make the proper adjustments. Sometimes it's not all about who you hire or fire, So far, your only arguments are, an unfortunate contract extension, and age discrimination towards our bball hire?
  7. LOL So, you're saying he's done a good job with everything, but the football program? You do realize IU football has been bad for over a century, correct?
  8. Apparently, it's the thing to do. MSU did it the other night, during their bball game.
  9. You do realize most of the other programs (men and women), under his watch, are pretty damn successful.
  10. Isn't the game on Friday?
  11. And to have the keys to the car, and starting from scratch
  12. Plus, women's volleyball, softball, and men's baseball are all thriving. Both swimming programs seem healthy, as well. Except for the elephant in the room (football), I really like where our athletic program is right now.
  13. Sorry @Stuhoo. Didn't finish reading through the posts, until after I posted mine. I really think Kaleb is just breaking the surface of his true potential.
  14. Kaleb 4pts-8reb-3ast-3stl-3blks....0 to's He looked really confident/comfortable on the defensive end. Got beat early a couple times on some dribble drives, but this kid is earning Woody's trust. Tons of talent.
  15. What an ambassador to IU basketball

    They are now 8/50. A whopping 16%
  17. As long as his character is good, I might be warming up to this kid. Regardless of height, if he competes, take him. Cupps, Galloway, Newton, Davis, and Gunn next year.
