IU football has made significant strides over the years. 1893 football 1 win 4 losses and 1 tie IU 54 Opponents 184 including win over Danville Athletic Club 18-0. Things were kept in a little more perspective back then regarding football and sports.

Now, off the bench at guard, it’s Henna S. to the rescue for solid minutes. -
K.P. in transfer portal.

Against Illinois Indiana got off to a solid first quarter start. Then, Illinois pretty much controlled game or at least Indiana wasn’t in control. Illinois got a little physical (not as much as Ohio State will be) and well spaced shooting. There 30 point plus performance guard had the ball in her hands mostly and set IU defender (mostly Chloe) up the whole game with quickness. Guarding her was ineffective because after playing sound defense on her she would penetrate and create or stop instantly with a quick mid range shot she made time after time. Illinois got to many second chance shots). On offense IU Ladies we’re definitely looking to go inside and Illinois was effective taking away 3 pointer. IU Ladies looked a little unsure and hesitant in passing and shooting including 3 ball Scalia was passive until later in game. Then, she drove the bucket a couple times. Yes, IU Ladies missed on several layups and close shots. Notable: Really missed loss of Berger how she makes everyone around her better, her rebounding, (Parrish does a really good job and often plays with Grace Berger at same time) which makes both them rebounders, facilitation of game, and really missed Berger’s mid range shot. IU Ladies have basically an All American not able to play. Having said this Parrish may be able to eventually (next year maybe later this year) rise close to an all big ten/all American type status. Also Yardon did not have a good game and was just taken out of game and had foul problems. IU Ladies are going to run into a lot of tough games. The target is on their back and they better get use to it. (as T. Moren has stated). Also Chloe is on a learning curve at point guard because of G.B. absence. (as T. Moren has said). This is a big negative. (as I say) though Chloe is doing a good job. Grace an all American type player is hard to replace. IU Ladies by 15 to 20 to 25 vs Penn State. Maybe, they can get some of the issues worked out from Illinois game. Also, no in your grill defender like N.C. Hillary. Hannah S. looks solid.

I haven’t seen them play but Penn State Ladies basketball looks pretty good (good as Illinois) from schedule, wins and losses.
-
TCU vs George Washington Ladies basketball hair pull accidentally??? Punches thrown (looked like L. James and whoever). That type of behavior could create big time wrestling level spectator interest surpassing men’s sports. However, currently I like the integrity of Ladies college basketball.

Need to play like it at Penn State…Also it would be fun to watch both, Parrish and Scalia to have big go off game simultaneously.

T. A. and his contract people did a great job, a beautiful job of taking care of him. It was a wonderful time for T. A. paired with an unknowing gullible administration of what they were doing in terms of a football head coach that was starved and desperate for a winning football program. Plus it brought them favor and security a few more years). It happens a lot in many places with no accountability. Sure there are job changes after damage is already done and financial security is gained and those in charge…charge into another endeavor. Is it going to be much different with whoever is next??? There are many many reasons IU football is a loser. (Even weak teams (not counting Cincinnati or the better teams) non conference games scheduled are often competitive for IU. The winning coach Mallory had more losses than wins. For every winner there is a loser. And in football maybe for IU the best hope is a Tie. Yes, IU is a washing machine (pick the brand) and those loads of laundry are expensive.
-
My A game probably 25% or less. I am not really trying to be a champion of anything.
-
Got off track and missed it. IU Ladies are getting on thin ice in injury department. Holmes last year and Berger this year. 14 player roster already down to 10.
-
Yes they are better but if you’re talking big ten championship or a top 5 finish. IU Ladies have to play better. Illinois is much better but not that good. Purdue is much better as well.
-
IU would be ranked # 1 (or close to it every year) with the best players and coaches playing in sold out stadiums instead of football stadiums. Football problems/s gone.
-
Unlike Illinois game need to play better than the number 4 team in big ten.
-
Can you read. IU Soccer would be number 1 and play in front of sold out stadiums including full IU football stadium. The equivalent to Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State football…only it would be Soccer with the best players, coaches and sold out Soccer stadiums that are now football fields.
-
And even worsening I would be surprised if any on that mid major transfer list end up at IU. IU football will be relegated to JR college, high school mac level qb, or some other want a be. For IU McCulley may be if he stays. That’s the state of IU football.
-
Michael Penix unavailable…staying at Washington for another year. Amazing how things are when things are going pretty well. Teri Moren “Winners Win and Winning is Fun.” Just thought I would throw that in.
-
How many teams with winning records has IU football beat since T. Allen has been head coach??? Any???
-
Drop football everywhere…the hell with it. With all the nonsense going on everywhere and start a 21st century nonsense called SOCCER ⚽️ PROBLEM SOLVED.

Note: last year espn player profile had her listed as 5 star recruit early on but currently listed as 3 star at 90. -

With what is coming in and here. Is she good enough? Or a better way to say it…is a she needed? IU Ladies are in search for difference makers in its system. I suppose she is good enough to feel a spot on 14 player roster if she is able to develop within system and become a star. IU Ladies need as much physical and size as they can get. Parrish along with Moore-McNeil are making it happen. -
Win a couple games in IU football equals a contract extension worth millions $$$. Then, next hire using history as predictor of the future…if next football coach is unsuccessful…then Dolson becomes on hot seat if not resigned. IU football is truly a washing machine.

This situation lends itself to a beaten down coach and (staff) regardless of money. In reality, there is hardly any where to go or hope for any success. There are many examples in all sports. An example is Bill Lynch. However, after transition period into a new situation and opportunity coaches move on and recover a sense of synergy. This will go well for T.A. because he is and will be on very very very very securely solid financial ground continuing in coaching if he desires or another opportunity. T.A. is low performance and very high reward kind of guy as a head coach in big ten. Much talk and exterior enthusiasm. Can anyone say LEO? IU hired a defensive coach who had some success at the college level that was a high school head coach that was 8 wins 3 losses for a season in Florida…then 25 wins and 12 losses at Ben Davis in Indianapolis as a head coach….Not a Gerry Faust type resume.
-
There are going to be many great opportunities for mid major college football players at IU in the near future. IU will field a pretty good Mac conference or mid major football team. The 2023 season may equal less wins than 2022 season. There is 0 hope in sight.

Sounds like Geary may be back for Penn State. If not it’s suppose to be short term.
