Forecast for scheduling…schedule with LEOing care. Louisville beats IU about 38 to 10 So IU could schedule a weaker team and still get beat by a little bit lesser amount of points. Appalachian State beats IU about 31 to 20 IU and Ball State a toss up (over/ under 34) and finally IU wins against Indiana State 31 to 7 and finally IU would score over 30 points in one game. Remember the schedule conflicts between KY and IU basketball…home and home vs off campus sites fiasco.

Looking forward to IU Ladies basketball program @ Northwestern, Sunday. Though not perfect and they play not so well at times it is a BEAUTIFUL THING.

I am sorry that this happened to this guy. I do not know him nor do the many who make comments at work or anywhere or on any kind of media. By all accounts he was one of the good guys. However, when an event like this happens to a high profile semi famous, popular, or famous individual/s society whether it’s a sports figure, actor/s, politician etc (there are many examples) whether on the job or not….much of society gets hyper focused on that event and or individual. Here is some colder hearted perspective. There are many examples of circumstances of life circumstances involving death or injury to people…the bridge worker, highway worker, construction worker, policeman/woman, firefighter/, any kind of driving or vehicle accidents, heat attack victims, the soldier and the list goes on and on that families and individual/s deal with on a daily basis…without hardly a thought other than maybe family or those close to the situation.

Well, an IU Ladies conference championship would leave no doubt. Then, turn around and win big ten tournament to confirm. Tough one.

Post game vs Nebraska assistant coach Box I think indicated very soon there was going to be addition to lineup. Plus Brown ought to be near as well.

I was being sarcastic in referring to R.L. being great and elite for IU basketball because he was not.

Just the whole situation coming to IU out of high school under A.M. early; physically not ready, lack of college success (Due to A.M. willingness to use IU basketball as farm team situation for NBA as it turns out for Langford) and some injuries…it turns out all things considered things have worked out very well for R.L. (financially in his chosen career regardless how much of a glamorous career he has) which may grow into a good NBA career. That’s how it fooled me when compared to counterparts including other college graduates. Unexpected.

One of the all time greats for IU…Romeo Langford. Sure fooled me. If one goes to college to get a good job/career @ something he or she wants to do I had it all wrong. Romeo was very smart and very successful elite alumn @ $3,000,000 to $5,000,000 per year. How many can say that?

Actually, my point is I think since realistically who would come to IU or fit IU as next head football coach when or if that time comes (not seeing any successful more high profile coach coming to IU) IU should simply look no further than Western Kentucky.

Michael Penix and Deboer and Wommack IU football had it but lost it. when and if there is a next hire for IU football head coach…if he is available and I do not even know who he is…or anything about him…Recommendation: make it simple and go down to Western Kentucky pay him and hire him as the next IU football coach.

Though IU ladies should have been able to beat MSU…not a surprise at loss. 3 of the last 4 games I could see this coming. IU Ladies we’re fortunate to beat Illinois at home. Plus MSU like the upper half of big ten is good and very capable. MSU after being down 17 took Ohio State to over time at Ohio State. Physically, IU Ladies currently do not have the ability to overcome loss of one of their top two players like the elite programs…. IU Ladies were once very deep but that changes quickly with an injury to a key player. G.B. even coming back is going to take even more time to get back to what % she was??? (though it will help a lot). Last year Patberg, Gulbe, (Hillary would fight on defense and stop a scorer, make a steal and then make a 3 pointer or a layup and one) they would all make big plays and had a physical presence. G.B. is an all around all of that. Scalia has not made adjustment (yet) to being a defensive stopper and at Minny she was the main offensive threat (the one) it seems to be in her head hesitant, second guessing what to do, unconfident overthinking which is a little is what much of the team is doing at times rather than go playing really really hard (competitive). It affects the 3 point shooting. One pattern with T. Moren teams 3 point shooting is talked confidently up and demonstrated and then is just awful at times and in this game defense was awful as well. Currently, physicality, confidence and swagger is an issue which will result in at least 5 or 6 losses in big unless corrected. Expecting a big win vs Nebraska. Bargesser is a competitor as she develops expecting her to play more. Parrish is as well and needs to take a next step upward without fouling out. Who took a charge for IU Ladies defense? Chloe the steady somewhat quieter performer tends to go quiet at times. Like her game off the ball. And is Geary good enough? When does Brown come back? IU Ladies could have used her 4 or 5 minutes vs MSU.

The only ones crying, sucking their thumbs, and carrying their blankies are the ones that don’t face reality…but rather live in their little imaginary dream world….regarding the football program and including the football program as evidenced by it’s own lack of loyalty as evidenced by players transferring and assistant coaches moving on. = Program Instability = Losing Records as evidenced by win loss history.

IU football needs about 22 big ten east caliber football players. Brady and any other good big ten east caliber QBs probably will have more desirable opportunities in their opinion other than IU…which will leave IU football with a JC or a mid major talent level transfer at Quarterback or moving 3 star quarterback Donaven McCulley from receiving to quarterback who I said coming out of high school would be a good quarterback for Ball State or another mid major. No high level high school quarterback will come to IU football. IU football usually gets QBs with some deficiencies and hearing T.A. talking about he likes the current recruiting class he refers to them as having an opportunity to play and prove themselves in the big ten…Another way of saying mid major or average major level talent level players trying to play in big ten east.

I seen T. Moren post game but now I can’t find it. T. Moren complimented Butler and their coach, IU Ladies played careless and in a hurry (to many turnovers (noted like they were in a hurry to go home to open presents), shots weren’t falling, and some uncharacteristic play (Chloe turnovers). She noted it’s much better to win going into break. T. Moren bright spots were ft shooting, won the rebounding, and the play of Bargesser was a bright spot, and Holmes played well, but said make no mistake she wants Grace back, definitely glad and best to get win going into break for a few days then on to prep for big ten.

From the beginning I have always said T. Moren (she literally accepted the job on the fly) was the best hire Fred Glass ever made…and IU extended her and kept her that she EARNED.
