2023 IUFB Prediction League - Week 4 vs Akron 9/23/23 7:30pm BTN
TTT replied to LIHoosier's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
IU flexes its MAC muscles. keeping in mind that nothing major has happened this season as far as expectations in wins and losses when thinking it can’t get worse…it’s IU football. IU 31 Zippos 17 -
Just keep T.A. and let contract run its course. Unless a football miracle for remainder of contract… make sure T.A. is not extended if IU would happen to have a 6 and 6 season (win 2 or 3 games in a row…still looking for program stability) Regardless, the circumstances not to long ago IU had a nationally ranked team if decision making was based on identifying what it had in DeBoer, Womack…and Penix vs giving expensive long contract extension.

Game Thread: IUFB vs. Louisville in Indianapolis 9/16/23 (12pm Eastern on BTN)

I guess it really doesn’t matter if it’s a win or loss. Alabama only wins 17 to 3 and some fans comment that Alabama is way down this year, going to have a bad season, and Saban is finished. -

Another happy exciting moral victory with a chance to win that’s all you can ask for flavor of TA post game of playing not to lose philosophy. If IU scores on its last series then Louisville would have scored again. If game goes into overtime IU loses in overtime. IU was not going to win. Its IU football. Best part of game leadership is T. Jackson in post game interview. Just like his brother a great respectful college student athlete. Great guy from a great high school program. -

Time after time when things get on the line at critical times IU, TA and staff on play series get ultra conservative with up the middle plays. This time and also against Ohio State in 2nd quarter. Need better prep and strategy. -
Maybe, if coaches were to talk smack against T.A. could T.A. get the Celine Dieon strategy to work for IU?

Michigan State football coach Mel Tucker accused of sexually harassing rape survivor
TTT replied to iubb's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
And unless criminally prosecuted…even after vacation time off there will be opportunities for this individual whether in; football, fund raising/nonprofit, acting, ministry work, political, business, advocacy, counseling, social etc etc etc and though not millions but a solid above livable income. -

Unless he is criminally charged and prosecuted…Does MSU let’s say pay out $20,000,000 plus attorney fees (more or less) million….then the ex coach is a big winner and doesn’t even have to work a future day to get it. Is any or all of it taxable? Especially, if he becomes Reverend Mel. Sounds good for him to me. side note: it will be at his option as to any other job/career opportunities as how it affects any kind of payout if that happens…but in today’s world there will be opportunities for him if he desires any of them….that’s just the way it is for those kinds of lowly 96,000,000 million/s dollar income earners/receivers. -
ISU game could maybe have counted half a win but given ISU state of affairs regarding football ISU receiving benefit of doubt at most counts as only one tenth of win…nothing counts.

Seems to me it’s quite a bit faster than the whole Penn State football fiasco and maybe Michigan fiasco (according to ex football players) and Michigan State gymnastics and whoever else in their own individual situations. -

Regardless, whether this high level character human being coaches another game at MSU or anywhere on any level…curious to how much money he ends up with when all dust settles and it’s all said and done (and attorney fees for them). side note: Though there are truly many high level character individuals in all levels of society…there sure is much corrupted low character very low individuals and (groups) on the opposite end of the character spectrum…suppose as always has been. -
From one of the best high school coached programs and best programs in the country….that has a lot to do with him as a prepared college QB.

Question (not so fast) is how ironclad is morality clause…and if lawyer/s get involved since it’s a significant amount of money…will there ultimately be some kind of settlement?….which would be a lot more money than if he got a job at a place like McDonalds…. And besides this situation if and when will the next coaching gig be? Pro or wherever? These situations seem to not be so cut and dry as in your fired get out of here and you won’t receive nothing. -

So, does Mel Tucker get any money (as in contract compensation) for this latest achievement??? -
Nebraska is in the same era as IU football of self-destruction . Does NIL allow for betting or in other way of saying it throwing games??

Impressive Terre Haute Bowl victory played in Bloomington Who gets the start at qb It doesn’t matter vs Louisville because if it’s like the past….a QB controversy will arise its head again by the middle of quarter 3 that will be reflected by the score which will be reflected by offensive efficiency. -

So is that kind of like a T.A. Insurance excuse just in case the score is close like 7 to 3 at halftime? Lol -

Does IU get a 38-0 half time lead and kind of coast to 42 to 0 or 3 or 7 playing 2n, 3rd, and 4 th stringers starting middle of quarter 3. The physical difference has to be such a mis-match. -
So Colorado one ONE game….Colorado looked really good on offense with a heisman like performance from QB vs TCU a good team this year but not a great team and questionable…how good. Reminds me in 2006 when Terry Hep said after IU beat # 15 Iowa 31 to 28: “IU football was a SHOOTING ROCKET.” Without the Dieon garbage (but yes it was an excellent showing for a debut) Iowa ended up 6 wins 7 losses overall and 2 wins and 6 losses in big ten.

Money. It’s everywhere in everything with no rhyme or reason to it for many financially fortunate people. T. Allen is just another norm in this fortunate group. and the Penix and (DeBoer) story well just seems to be IU football phenomena.

Every picture of S. Parrish has her right wrist/hand and part of arm out of view. Mentality toughness strategy I suppose. I like it, actually. I think she had her wrist taped a little in Greece… at least one of the games. Or maybe I am just seeing things
