IUBB vs Nebraska- Wednesday 2-21-24 8:30 PM BTN

Fish and Shur talking as usual Nebraska just can’t miss. Fish: fans are booing because they are frustrated…because IU can’t hit free throws…Lol -

And if coach could just get C. Clark out of the transfer portal with a Brian Sloan screen IU could win this game. -

Penn State is a National Elite Powerhouse with a team full of All Americans. Coach not going anywhere. Alot to offer. Knows how to teach the game and moves around well. Not sure if I will do it into my 70’s but some do. Just got to keep working and get this thing turned around. It takes time. Dolson: Coach has positioned this team to meet high expectations and it doesn’t happen overnight. Did I say that right Quinn?? Continue, business as usual. Super exciting. Power of positive thinking. Forgot who IU was even playing. It’s Nebraska Corn that is a National Elite Powerhouse with a team full of All Americans. But if IU was playing Penn State the above statement would be true regarding Penn State…it would not matter. -

It would not work for IU because nothing would hardly ever be in rhythm. -
Woodson and Buckner are quite the gentleman. Woodson was kind enough to autograph a napkin for me at Friday’s Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis in the early eighties. Shook hands with Buckner at the Bluebird in Bloomington. In the mid seventies. Gracious gentleman.

I can see it now. Coach Bob Knight said Brian Sloan was the best screener he ever coached. Recruit a screener specifically for Clark and once across the 10 second line let the 3 balls rain. Maybe, right before getting across 10 second line. I remember one game Brian Sloan was head hunting to screen for shooter/s that was a strategy in a pretty high profile game (can’t remember the opponent) The strategy worked as IU won the game. How many screens has this version of the hurri’n Hoosiers set? Or since the year 2000?

Be careful on positivity thread posting Hahahaha is an unwanted negative comment and suggested that is a negative post on that thread. And jumped on this thread to let it be known. Lol

Mike Woodson has everything under control. He is going to convince Caitlin Clark to enter the transfer portal instead of going pro and transfer to Indiana.
-
Before long Woodson may bring a pillow and blanket for nap time during games.

IUWBB vs Iowa - Thursday, 02.22.24 @ 8:00 on Peacock

It would be good to practice in the uniforms for Iowa game a few times. -
Like passing and running plays so shooting the ball including 3 point ball be shot in confident rhythm would be a start.

IU men’s basketball will get players from the transfer portal only from players that other top Power 5 programs don’t make them much of a priority. Results will continue to be in the middle of the big ten pack, maybe. Maybe not. All morning sound bites over and over again on WIBC news Mike Woodson is not going anywhere. He says, “I will continue to build this team and put this team in the best position possible.” On and on he goes reflecting coaching into his 70’s and he is undecided. I still move around, can teach the game, think well and before season started Dolson stated he was happy with how Woodson positioned program to meet fan expectations and realizes this process doesn’t happen overnight….August, 2023. Just dump loads of money everywhere for those involved to go along with their eliteness. Did someone or those involved at IU do some collaboration with WIBC?

I support NIL 100%. To get it 1. Players do not get a scholarship or any other financial aid. 2. Players buy their own uniforms and equipment 3. Players buy all their own food. 3. Players buy or rent or build college arenas, stadiums and facilities they play and practice in. 4. Players pay for all transportation to and from games 5. Players pay for all hotels and other expenses they have…..or just receive a scholarship And shut up. (scholarships can include some money comparable to what a 20 hour a week part time job might pay at 15 bucks an hour and housing across the board) and everything else is for the love of the game or sport which they claim to have. AND coaches and those who make big money do the same things as I list for players or simply earn a few hundred thousand bucks per year And shut up. Everything else is for the love of the game or sport which they claim to have. I am talking about major college programs where big money and NIL is involved for sports and related areas. Decrease costs even if its one penny for the general college population going to college who without them and alumni there wouldn’t even be a college or sports.

Guys like Woodson (like others) only way he is going to find is to the bank. That’s the system that has been up by and for those involved. They are great little gigs for those who get them. This is a system or process that has been setup for what is now many years and has lost almost all perspective/s.
-
He and many in their own positions feel the same way. That’s how they justify to themselves their own actions, decisions, and performance. They don’t just give a 100% but give a 110%…dedicate their lives…and often regarded and rewarded. JUST ASK THEM. They will tell you.
-
Financially speaking between IU and Woodson…0 % is Woodson’s fault unless maybe Fani Willis and Alvin Bragg can investigate some illegal activities among those involved in contractual activities regarding the coach/es. If confused: just sign of the times. Going both ways. Those being investigated and the investigators themselves….in other words the crooks, corrupt.

The Great Tony Hinkle and Tom Carnegie and IHSAA state tournament single class basketball games.
-
It takes an army nowadays or is it a village? yes throw the basketball up and let’s ball.
-
Are there any known volunteer coaches available? Tony Hinkle was the closest thing to a volunteer coach, ever. I think he even did the janitorial work besides coaching basketball, baseball, and football.
-
Maybe, I should make another post on the positive only thread: self righteous suggested my posts are not positive and unwanted. (subject to interpretation). Lol

Status and Money. Why move on? Until good and ready. Pour a glass of champagne. Life is good. Just stay off message boards and block unwanted emails.

I heard Woodson and Buckner are going to suit up next year. They are talking to Whittman, May, Abernathy, and Don Noort to see if they will join them. Dan Dakich said he wanted to play, but Woodson and Buckner said NO. I think there could be a raise involved if Woodson and Buckner can make this happen.
-
I am sure he is looking out a different window than others. Money, status, feelings of accomplishment do that to a person. (feelings of accomplishment not actual accomplishment)
-
No. Not at all. I think the whole Woodson regime should be gone as well like the the other day or yesteryear almost before he ever started or should have never started to begin with. And same goes for Buckner. Problems galore.
