Indiana State needs to make sure they keep Josh Schertz the best they can. If there is a silver lining here it may increase the chances Schertz is at Indiana State going forward….and continue next year.

Can IU Ladies host with Kansas State? -
They could at least upgrade to IPhones and send a text or face time for those hundreds of thousands and millions dollars contracts….of course they would have to learn how to use them for that purpose of recruiting, talking to families and community involvement and that might be an inconvenience.

That song might not be a bad transfer portal recruiting theme song.

I am an uninterested non liker of professional NBA, NFL, and MLB for the reasons I see happening to major college football and basketball. I want to grow with players, teams, coaches, and the whole program….get to know all it and what image is represented. I am not interested in listening to paid one and done or two and done on a yearly basis talking about their love for a university training ground etc etc etc and then gone. I don’t need them. Sure, there are going to be transfer portal players mixed in with a team nucleus of 3 and 4 year players. But to have a team full of paid transfer portal players every year regardless of championships…. I will go find another program even it’s a mid major (Sycamores which I follow), small college, or the Harlem Globe Trotter / Washington Generals.

So, IU men’s basketball is going to put together a mid major all star team for the 2024-25 season.

Florida Atlantic looks like a fun place for fans and a good time. Even a fan in red speedos. (or something like that). Good coaching gig with a decent salary for what it is in a warm climate. Looks like Florida Atlantic team is committed to doing exactly what they want to do vs Memphis State. Defense and offense and effort has a traditional mixed with a modern style of play.

2024 B1G Women's Basketball Tournament

Virginia Tech going through its own situation with Kitley…tough times for both, Holmes and Kitley and respective teams. (V.T. is leaving things a little bit in gray area with Kitley trying to get best seed in tournament position possible). (IU and all teams do the same regarding injury situations). Holmes going in was more of a torn decision to make an appearance in her last big ten tournament. -
It would be creative.

And for next year transfer portal help is needed. And a couple 5 star high school recruits needed thereafter. Recently, Holmes, Patberg, Berger, Parrish, all 5 stars out of high school. -

Closest loss this year was at Ohio State by 5. The other losses were decisive. IU inconsistent in away games and high energy from home crowds. Michigan adjusted in this one. T.Moren regardless what she said did not have intentions to play Holmes. I think Holmes wanted to go in so she allowed her to play. In reality let Michigan worry about Iowa. IU Ladies had a very good regular season. Next season 3 is March Madness. Maybe, there’s a win or two in the tournament. -

T. Moren playing planned strategy street ball toughness with guard quickness and ball handling and defense….something like Bob Knight would scheme up. -

Plus at start of season T.Moren said she needed the freshman to grow up quickly to make impact. Maybe, Jules and/or Lenee could be an unknown impact (meaning some points, rebounds and solid floor game) though it would be a pleasant surprise for IU Ladies. Looks like Good News video: Lilly looks ready to go. -
2024 B1G Women's Basketball Tournament

It is near 100% more difficult with what happened within a couple minutes of one another on Sunday. (IU at OSU was very winnable game losing by 5). Beyond Iowa as favorite; Maryland, Penn State, Michigan, and Nebraska, it’s wide open. From near 100% more difficult with Ohio State out it’s still going to be 90% more difficult. If IU plays small ball with Garzon in middle for extended period expect guards to do alot of digging. Michigan could answer with 3 ball. Extended minutes how long does it take for Garzon to get 2 fouls? Maybe, Lilly can play (T. Moren said Lilly sprain was significant). Rebounding for IU Ladies took a big hit and expect 3 point shooters to be covered due to unavailability of effectively going into Homes. Difficult for IU Ladies, again. -
Does Caitlin Clark play for the Indiana Fever or Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team next year? Is there a secret bidding war for her sevices? Heck, get a couple offensive lineman from the football team and set screens for her at the ten second line logo and let her bombs away….at least it is a plan.

Do whatever the Cheif of Staff was going to do…it’s a joke.
-
So they are going to play with 4 players? No. Or does Woody become player/coach? Tommy Heinsohn did the player coach gig for the Boston Celtics So tell me why Woodson needs a Chief of Staff again?
-
The Chief of Staff/GM was not implemented fast enough. player wants to play in a functional program and not a disfunction program. Good for him.
-
Why don’t they just use their smart phone?
-
So who is the coach? The coach or the GM/Chief of Staff?
