Every thing is focused on coaching. IU football will not sustain long term 500 football under current structure of big ten conference. There are many major conference teams that have fairly solid programs with marginal winning records that would not have winning or even 500 win percentage if they were in the same conference structure that IU has traditionally and currently been in.

At Knight’s peak or near peak…Most of them. Personal and team success and winning on a major level has a way of doing that. sidenote: even back then not everyone would or could play for Knight.

That may rate up there with the best locations for dummies ever….San Diego county beautiful and overall in the very small percentage of most beautiful weather anywhere.

Basketball speaking UCLA is not the best match for her.

Sometimes once a player commits in this case to IU player rating might increase a little. Wiseman 93 at 4 star # 55 per espn. Really have no rating on Fenn other than being a solid player (role player) Maya Makalusky 6’3” shooting guard 2025 Fishers IN (S. Parrish school) is at least a 4 star or borderline 5 star in my opinion.

Is Gruden going to tackle, punt, catch the football, throw or run for a touchdown?? Everyone as usual will be happy after a couple of wins (refer to Colorado) or T.A. as assistant and first couple years as head coach. So someone like Aa Gruden or whoever could make a fairly quick 20 million and AD and other decision makers can buy a good 5 more years in their current positions.

My opinion: I wish these glorifying videos on both, men and women sports including basketball and football would be outlawed in NCAA sports. And before schools are posted on who makes a player’s cut limit to no more than 3 or 4 schools. These players should have to cut their lists to 4 and probably 3 before announcing their final list before making final choice on committing. Having these Final Cut lists may make players and parents feel SPECIAL are hardly Final Cut lists. I rarely find UCONN on cut lists. Even though not as dominant as in the past UCONN and now LSU don’t even have to fight for recruits on cut lists.

Clues: Does the 4:00pm time give a clue??? Or No? 5 star teammate at 6’2” already committed in class of 24 to UCLA. Last visit was to UCLA

IU men’s basketball Rational and logical reasoning: I am still in waiting mode….waiting to see if the Woodson and staff era is going to be successful???? Maybe a big ten championship, a final 4 or national championship, an NIT championship or something….because right now I don’t see it and won’t even measure up to Tom Crean era. 2023-2024 season I expect a middle of the pack big ten finish, a win or two in big ten tournament and a win in NCAA tournament or sweet sixteen peak. My scouting report comes from Hoosier Hysteria. Not impressive, I am not saying championships won’t happen but nothing is shown that makes me think it will happen in the future for for IU men’s basketball at this point from both, coaching and players.

Unfortunately, I have seen this similar scenario play out for over 60 years. Just like all the lateral to lower level MAC type recruiting with all the excitement of hope and dreams…this and that player/s are going to take IU football to the promised land (some temporary success once in a while) the coaching eras end up eerily similarly the same. And now another short era comes to an end (wondering if player/s almost thinking boycott or probably transfer elsewhere) and a new probably short coaching era will begin. Since 1887 It’s IU MAC conference football playing in what will now become a more competitive Big Ten conference. IU’s best hope is once 18 to 20 teams get into the Big Ten is to break football into 2 conferences like the top half of teams called the Big Ten Conference and the other lower half of teams called the Little Ten Conference. Then, though nothing really changed on who is the best but everyone could feel a little better. The lower teams in the top half what would be the Big Ten could rise to the top once in a while. The lower half what would be the Little Ten could have a more equal win distribution. It’s a better feeling already. Criteria could be set up for a Little Ten team to move into Big Ten and Big Ten team move into Little Ten based on performance over a given period of time.

The best thing for T.A. Just like Bill Lynch but 20 million more so than Lynch is for him to get fired. After hurt ego and some recovery time T.A. will have at his discretion several options and opportunities. Not as much money but still solid money and once he transitions into a more suitable position for himself he and his family will be so much happier. Regardless, of whose fault even if he takes some time off he will be out of the pressure cooker and into a fresh start still making a couple hundred thousand per year unless he goes back to high school level….More than likely smaller college (A college like Indiana State would pay him a couple hundred thousand as head coach) or a few hundred thousand for a defensive assistant/coordinator on a more major program would pay him a few hundred thousand. Life is so tough sometimes Lol.

I would not be surprised if Sidney Parrish plays at All American level this year. (she was good already but a big time sleeper player in my opinion that it will all come together for her)

Always kind of wondered what LEO means other than love every one. (It has really worked well for T.A.financially). How much does it really mean??? Enough for a refund or at least a partial refund for job performance???LOL. Sidenote: I get Bob Knight earned most of his money in a large variety of ways…..However, Bob Knight supposedly declined Texas Tech salary one year for poor job performance. At IU Knight salary was in the below or around a couple hundred thousand dollars per year. (times have changed) Is that true LEO???
