  1. L.M. (and T. Moren should have known this) has always been limited for big ten upper echelon talent. It was mainly hoping. She is adequate in backup role at this level. Last night and other games this year IU Ladies spot Illinois and other teams 5 to 7 or 8 points at the start of game because of L.M. post play. Then, leading to a question, though she has some limitations as well is how much better would Striplin be in a starting role and IU Ladies be. I get it T. Moren or coaching staff showing loyalty to the L.M. and may have talked to both players about this. Overall, Striplin is just the better player.
  2. Though win was a good win at Iowa….Iowa gets beat at home by Nebraska. Things have changed.
  3. T. Moren a little down on team noting disturbed by yesterday’s practice in preparation for Illinois that carried over into game. Noted Garzon had trouble guarding and Lilly just needs to be better overall.
  4. Coach Woodson: agrees with you and did refer to big ten if any action was to be taken. He had a dismissive tone.
  5. Possibilities: 10 to 16 march madness tournament (there could be several future losses) or NIT bid
  6. Advice: Just play with no thuggery from players or coaches
  7. I am not sure T. Moren is being overly picky. 5 stars after being recruited by Indiana have chosen to go elsewhere. Blakes a freshman @ Vandy is a leading scorer who IU recruited heavily. I can think of 5 (5 star players high school and portal) the past two years that IU was involved in recruiting them and not one came to IU.
  8. Garzon no injury or health issues…she’s good per Patberg post game. She must have got herself a little bench time
  9. Garzon? IU going with quickness right now.

  14. Players to get dressed on the plane vs Ohio State.
  15. Here is a IU men’s basketball program concern: Not really interested in watching this version of men’s basketball for rest of season. 1. IU men’s basketball is a very frustrated group 2. Frustration is growing parallel to a pressure cooker which somewhat came out in Illinois game. Pushing and shoving and coach Woodson dismissal of a sissy shove by IU player when he tried to jump over top of other players to shove Illinois player to the ground. A dumpster fire considering everything involved. 3. There is no organized team currently and players are confused and coaches are lost. This is a fragile situation that could get out of control on the floor. With continued and constant trailing anywhere from 15 to 30 points during games expect frustration to grow and tempers to flare. The team including coaches lack intellect. IU men’s basketball in total is currently a lost program Conclusion: an all out brawl is not out of the question. Plus behaviors both on and off court are suspect. This has potential to lead IU men’s basketball to a probationary status for the future. Close scrutiny should already be implemented and preparation for corrective action Now. (Before something happens that IU does not want).
  16. Over and under. Does this thread reach 2,000 before or after IU men’s basketball has a new coach? It would be wise to have IU president very involved in selecting next IU men’s basketball coach. She was right there with coach Cignetti and AD receiving Walter Camp coaching award.
  17. And Nicole Cardano-Hillary calling game on Peacock.
  18. These guys don’t care. It’s all about being in a club of status, money perks, benefits, financial stability/security and happiness. Vacations, big homes, cars, wine, cigars, family, close friends, entertainment, going out to eat, parties, and the good life now and during retirement. Distance afar is a winning cultural celebrated with integrity. Truthfully that is what it is.
  19. The QB club…talking to Woodson for probably about a half hour should tell most people that know anything and maybe another hour for a little research is what you have and that is a lack of ability, knowledge and intellect to be a head coach for IU men’s basketball….when he interviewed for the job.

Do IU Ladies have to wade through the men’s basketball swamp to go to practice?

Shout out to Rhet Wierzba. Seems lower key this season…..hope things (physically) are ok.
  22. Provided things are going well and money is there…Why would Bruce Pearl or anyone even want to consider a dumpster fire like IU unless it’s earlier in career and it’s a move upwards? Exception: B.S. because well he is B.S. lol Brad Stevens….and to a lesser degree Dusty May. IU men’s basketball first needs a no nonsense integrity approach and culture brought back to program before winning one game in the future (next season). Either one of these guys would do that with Stevens overall experience’s unsurpassed by anyone. And the IU fanbase would be gracious giving either some grace enough for correction course. (Brad Stevens would not be intimidated at all). Other than those two a no nonsense high integrity culture first coach followed by winning. Most importantly this is the IU men’s basketball hire of the 21st century.

  24. Club member…C.C. Along for the perks, status, benefits, money ride …as most all are in (especially professional sports) and now many in major college sports circumstances….C.C. has a little experience on professional level with the Pacers Lol plus some college experience at IU and 3 years as assistant at St Louis. Nothing jumps off the page, really.
