Things have gotten tougher in big ten. IU Ladies whether it’s performance and/or Recruiting including transfers have to keep pace. IU Ladies have always operated a little lean and it’s catching up…bottom half of big ten vs in the running for championships. -
https://x.com/TriedTrueFan/status/1889706334196502855 And….B.S. points 1508 steals, assists 444, 157 3 pointers 138 26.8 per game (all metro, 3 times all conference, 1st team academic all state, sectional MVP

And Brad Stevens (unfazed by external factors) has made himself an institution and IU is an institution = merger

Zero to do with IU’s recruiting…Is not IU a member of the big ten? Lol. Big ten starting level guards = And IU Ladies are already struggling to win at 50% level in big ten….though they are currently a game above. You make some good points. -

And there is a big problem for maybe a number of reasons. Coaching style? Playing style? No beaches and winter? Verbally emphasized defense when other teams are just as good defensively but don’t emphasize it verbally public as much? Emphasis verbally on living in the gym beyond practice time…not sure what elite players think because they probably do this anyway? And then not sure about NIL? IU Ladies success (including strong fan base support from NIT championship (administrative/Dolson hosting all games) and facilities forward through the Holmes era has not translated into enough elite recruiting. Couple excellent freshmen coming in next year but how impactful will they be? I do expect they will play. F.W. will be a year older but not sure what is there? L.B. expected to return and be good but how impactful? A couple of portal players (much more than 6’3” 10 point scorer from like Cornell or somewhere and a 10 point scoring wing from like Butler) are needed…..even though would be all in for the Butler Makalusky.…IU Ladies will struggle to win 50% of big ten games next year. IU Ladies are recruiting challanged. -

IU Ladies focus offensively was inside. It worked well. However, I noticed during some of the game players hesitated on 3 ball or passed 3 ball up (Shay) and made extra pass for a worse 3 point shot. Focus on inside game was a very important strategy but players were not in rhythm shooting 3 ball. And IU Ladies lost defense in quarter 4 and lost shooters. Quarters 1, 2, 3 defense was very good for IU Ladies…. And the refs pushed Michigan over the hump. (towards end of game pulling IU Ladies off ft line may had negative impact on Striplin as she didn’t look in rhythm/pure…she has been reliable at the ft line). -
One game suspension and questionable past judgment with NIL structure Steven Alford is a serious candidate for being the next IU coach in my opinion though I think it’s B.S.

So you’re telling me there’s a chance #shortsdumbanddumber

Behavioral Science says the public silence from Brad Stevens and IU administrators that there is a high probability that the next IU men’s basketball coach will be…..him.

Looking at Michigan State physically looks like they have been in the weight room, working out, running wind sprints like a boot camp for years. IU looks like they set around talking about weight room training, working out, and running wind sprints….Not close in looking at each team physically. IU is such an out of shape team both, physically and mentally. -

That was Connie Chung interview late 1980’s….Knight said his statement was misinterpreted…..comparing it to an airplane going down and what can you do about it…..knight viewed himself as a perfectionist on the English language and History)….Connie Chung took a little smack on her shoulder and facial cheek as they were talking about control and Knight demonstrating encouragement.

If it’s not B.S. who has made himself an institution that would join the institution of IU, next D.M….. third choice….M.F. and S.A. as in Steve Alford is the coach. Experience and NIL money (NIL money makes this at least a tie for the third best available hire). Alford would wisely manage NIL money to make a championship team. (I would not want Alford except I think he would be successful with NIL employment of players). Alford has questionable past judgment and so do many others as many of them have a certain amount of scum baggery.

When is Btown Banners getting together for the next board meeting? “The Absent Minded Professor” would win National Championship in his first year.

I never thought L.M. Proved herself other than what she is as a big ten center. She is a back up who can play behind an excellent to great one at this level for some minutes as needed. Her play is not a surprise though expected just a little bit better rather than what it is. Lilly played volleyball in high school but was not ever a highly rated prospect even though she had offers. Minnesota seemed to have chosen other options when she was being recruited. -
Brad Stevens or all the way to Steve Alford and anyone in between.

IU Ladies looking very tired and no running up and down the floor. Minnesota looks like they physically took care of business. -

At start of game shots were rimming out. As game went on shots were falling short. Depending on outside shots if fall = win. If they miss = loss. If that’s almost all you got… equals 50% wins/losses. -

L and M largely cost lead and gave it to Minny going into half. However, no one is making shots. And Minny is making things difficult with their defense. -

Now, the whole team is playing like Lilly did in first half where IU lost 4 point lead. Now, this game has turned into a toothache for IU Ladies. Minny just going to out physical IU that’s stuck in the mud.
