Low Expectations -
Final T. Moren show Monday March 3 at 7:05pm on B97.

Don’t want a coach who has to much major college success. Those kinds of coaches are already over the HUMP.

So is Brad Stevens going to come to IU as the newly created General Manager of IU basketball operations?

(2025) - Maya Makalusky to INDIANA
TTT replied to Class of '66 Old Fart's topic in Indiana Women's Basketball
Makalusky will probably be Miss Basketball. Besides Reynolds, Jayla Lampley would be another contender. -
Stevens May Alford Schertz Scott Drew McCollum (Schertz troll his Facebook page: philosophy, player buy in during interviews, intelligent speaking, Kaizen, 21st century style of play while being a defensive minded coach…..with a popular team first offense with individual roles where everyone wins on team, a competitor, early age tennis star that took him to basketball…type of guy that using IU NIL (team assembly) would put an A+ team on the floor that would be connected as a team, in university, community and likable/lovable by fans.

No talk of winning Big Ten and National Championships anymore? With coaching salary/s, NIL, Fans, Gym and facilities, campus, Bloomington community, state, national???
-
If not Stevens or May Then: Alford Schertz (young tennis star, Interesting relationship with dad and mom, on his own at young age from a million dollar dad)…..Schertz NIL would get players that play for the school and him. Community liked him because he wins. (AD from ISU could see it) ISU had a president that was out of her league. (In both basketball and baseball). Schertz is smart. Team plays 21st century and still is a no nonsense type coach. Entertaining. People would like this guy and is well spoken (interesting and fun to listen to). High energy. And less of a risk than many that are mentioned because he can coach and the IU NIL would allow him to put together the team chemistry that he would be successful with. Spin the bottle and pick one….Let’s go.

McCutcheon no match for Warsaw. Lillie 13 points.

Hamilton Southeastern vs Warsaw Semistate. Junior Joslyn Bricker interesting player for Warsaw….wonder what her future looks like? -
Pam Whitten is instrumental in this process. She is no dummy when it comes to major athletics at IU.
-
1. Does coach Woodson receive a lifetime season ticket/s upon his retirement…or do all ex players who completed their careers at IU already have lifetime passes? 2. If IU is unable to find an acceptable coach…does IU re-enter negotiations with coach Woodson? 3. Option: Josh Schertz with $6,000,000 NIL

After home game this is relatively short one game trip and IU Ladies should be rested ok. IU Ladies need to travel with their A game. Actually, on the road (even at Assembly Hall) IU Ladies haven’t been that far off usually running out of gas and losing leads towards the end after stumbling out of the gate at start of season has resulted in losses that were very winnable games. -
Brad Stevens choice 1 Dusty May choice 2 Steve Alford choice 3 (going up in value if others are getting extended at current job) Josh Shertz choice 4 (if background checks out). He’s a great tennis player. Competitive.
-
If it’s not Steve Alford just go back to a guy who was high on last year’s list. Josh Schertz turned Indiana State around in a couple years. Indiana State played an exciting style of basketball and played hard. He’s a baldy and give him NIL money. He is a player’s coach. Plus he’s smart.

Recently, Brad Stevens at Assembly Hall.

Key 4th quarter rebound by Shay C, that resulted in foul upgrade on Cody M. over Garzon blockout. IU Ladies physically handled press well throughout most of game. (Sloppy at the end aided by refs). IU Ladies are a sweet 16 team if they can play on the road in March Madness like they play at home with the Hoosier crowd behind them. IU Ladies should close out regular season with 20 win regular season . -

Biggest win of the season -
Considering keeping Woody

Given IU NIL for men’s basketball Cronin and others will compete 3rd or fourth to top half of big ten. With coach salary, NIL, facilities, and fans in a basketball state IU should have one of the highest winning standards for basketball hire. Everything else is boring…..and just give a bunch of that NIL money to T. Moren and IU Ladies basketball program.

Getting booed by Michigan fans is less than a non factor and only one time per year at home games or on a neutral floor and will fade in a few years to a few spontaneous boos to what are you even booing about.
