Obviously, we hate Purdue, but I told a Purdue guy today at the barbershop that I felt good they were gonna win. Cause **** Penn State.

    Indiana HS Football 2022

I'm not having a good night. Tech is getting killed, 27-0. Does not help we historically do not have punters so the QB does these squib kicks on fourth down setting up prime field position for our opponents. EDIT: Left at halftime due to not having a ride home, but when you're down 41-0, it's not like you're coming back.

Did you know that there's a Frisch's Big Boy in Greensburg? I mean, there's about 50 of them in the Cincinnati area but... There's actually one of those damn things in Southern Indiana.

Going back to Tech, I just wished they would stop treating themselves as being a poverty school. I know that IPS likely struggles with budget and recruitment is nonexistent but if they envisioned themselves going to the MIC or a conference more centralized in the donut counties, they need to start acting like they can afford a little bit of spending or at least get people who can be more social in the community.

    Indiana HS Football 2022

Going to be going to my first game of the season this Friday. Bishop Chatard is primed to be a top contender for the Class 4A title, but I'm supporting my alma mater, Arsenal Tech. Haven't won anything in football in forever, but you gotta at least support your school.

    IUFB 2022 Season Thread

I would be more optimistic this season if we had fired Darren Hiller, but because we still have him, I'm not at all hopeful that our quarterbacks will be protected and our running backs will be given much opportunities for big breaks.

So the University of California board of regents isn't happy about UCLA leaving as it would impact Cal (obviously). Now, had the Big Ten also floated getting Cal and Stanford, I certainly wouldn't think they would be complaining as the media rights would more than be enough to help fund the University of California system.

    B1G expansion

In wrestling terms, if the Alliance was Pro Wrestling USA (which was the NWA/AWA/World Class/regional feds) back in the mid 80s, this is Verne Gagne trying again with Super Clash III. So depressing.

    B1G expansion

Desalination is very expensive and labor intensive, not to mention you have all the issues of what to do with the brine that's left over (if you just dump it out in the ocean, it can cause severe damage to the ecosystem), and its a pain in the @$$ to get stuff further inland. The bigger solution would be conservation, which would be a multi-pronged idea, such as reducing water wasters, like golf courses and water parks (Why would you have water parks in the desert when you're, like, 60-70 miles from the ocean?) as well as changing up the agriculture plans in California, like growing cruciferous crops and beans instead of artichokes and almonds and raising chickens instead of cattle. However, that all involves a lot of long term change and... change sucks. And is expensive.
