I'm in great spirits from last night. IU Indianapolis had their biggest win in Horizon League action with a 34 point pounding of Detroit Mercy, and their biggest since 2010 where they smashed the UMKC Roos by 38 back in the Summit.

Being one of the few people who follows IU Indy makes me depressed. I wished Paul Corsaro didn't bring every single player from UIndy and actually tried to transfer more than one player who played Division 1 basketball last season. If I wanted to see a team chuck bricks from downtown, we should have kept Matt Crenshaw.

For those schools, it would be a lifesaver for programs and could help maintain or even upgrade facilities. I doubt it would happen but it's something that should be looked at.

It's like this; football brings more money than basketball. We get IU to consistent 8-11 wins in football, we get postseason money, and then can feed the basketball program again. But until then, we need a coach on the court that can, uh, coach. Woodson is great at recruiting but is so clueless with a clipboard. I know for Indiana purists, this isn't the way, but let's give it a chance.
