It’s his team and we can question it and for good reason but I am confident there is a method to his madness. In CMW I trust!

Nice win and they bench did their job! They extended the lead which is what CMW was trying to get done in todays game. Mission accomplished and a nice bounce back win! A couple other things of note: 1) This team is slowly gaining some mental toughness 2) JG, RP, and TB all played well off the bench. Even Leal played decent! 3) Lander sits behind RP for a reason

And he took responsibility for that, but this is the type of game he should be able to do that in and it worked! JG, RP, TB has all played well and gained confidence. Leal hasn’t looked bad either

He knows that, but he is trying to develop his bench with the anticipation that a couple of those players might be counted on to finish close games, plus if team has a lead he doesn’t want any drop off.

I hate to say it, but our offense has looked better with Phinesee at the point than Johnson. If only he can start knocking down the 3 ball. It would be nice if CMW would give him the start in the 2nd half, but we know that won’t happen

Sorry, I didn’t catch that! After re-reading it, I can see that now! Painter, like Keady, can find big men that aren’t highly recruited and develop them. Edey actually has coordination, probably from playing baseball and hockey. Someone told me he actually didn’t play basketball until he was 17. Who knows how this kid turns out, but I am betting he will be decent by the time he graduates, if not before then.

Eeddy was the same thing and look at him. Painter is really good at finding diamonds in the rough when it comes to 7 footers.

I actually think that will come. If he rebounds and defends, that is what we need out of him and when he scores, that will be the icing on the cake, IMO.

Yes he did and he did it again in the 2nd half after he picked up his 3rd foul. He should have pulled him down the stretch though, when he tried to play hero. He should of explained to him that he isn’t the go to guy, TJD is and Race or Parker should be our 2nd/3rd option, not him

Spot on with this too. I’ve mentioned it before too, unless CMW and staff reels him in and gets him straightened out, we will continue to have this Jekyll & Hyde personality that we’ve taken from our point guard.

This! X shots 10 times in the 2nd half and TJD 5, those needed to be flipped. Race should have gotten more shots than X.

This I agree with! Did CMW make mistakes in yesterday’s game, yes and he owned them! Did X play selfish and pathetic in the 2nd half, yes! Are those things correctable? Yes! Let’s see what happens over the next 3 or 4 games! We are 1-1 in the B10 and 7-2 overall, with our 2 loses winnable if we play even 35 minutes of basketball, but if we play 40, I still think we are a top 20 team. The 1st half of the Wisconsin game and 2nd half of the Syracuse game shows our capability!

I know Bates had his moments in yesterday’s game but could we play him at point guard. What about Leal? I am for trying someone other than those 3. I can’t wait for Trey Galloway to come back, I know he could play it. we need better point guard play, instead of a head case, Mr. Timid, and no D

They both should be. Every game, no matter the outcome, should be a teaching moment. I do agree, we’ve got to start playing both halves well! We played the 2nd half of the Syracuse game well and the 1st half of the Wisconsin game well, but the other two halves, a high school team could have beat us. CMW has to get that corrected and soon!

This is exactly what I seen. X trying to play hero and didn’t get others involved. That pick & roll was working but X stopped looking for it and started looking to score. Stewart & Kopp we’re non-existent in the 2nd half but I blame X and Phinesee. Phinesee kept dribbling too much east and west, I never seen him go north and south
