Fair enough - I have stuff to do as well. I just want to understand how those decision-makers can look at what next year would be with Woodson and see that it’s a good thing, especially if the rumors are true that we have a coach we could hire that would be the answer to where Woody isn’t. Those decision-makers need to understand the damage that could be done just staying pat as they are. This program has been managed badly over the last 20 years or so; making another bad decision could really cripple it for a long, long time.

Please explain how the firing of Tom Crean was a watershed event? Was it because certain individuals were involved that forced the athletic department to take action? Was it because maybe some of those same individuals were involved in the hiring process of the next coach(Miller)? please help us understand what you’re saying better.

@KathywithaC can you help us out here? I remember the #42 Mike Woodson who helped IU win a Big 10 Championship in 1980. Loved the guy. But Mike Woodson the coach going forward isn’t the answer - he is almost 66, he runs a system that isn’t conducive to success in modern college basketball. Plus this: just how could Woodson (or any member of his staff) NOT be at the first round of sectional games this past week? If there’s anything that is a bad optic, that has to be it. How can you not be out in public? I would really like to know how any decision-makers can take these things into consideration, and then justify bringing Woodson back.

Again, it may be an individual that does know things going on, but I need to see a lot more before I’ll be convinced this isn’t some kind of information ploy.

The part that really raised my eyebrows was the “don’t believe the personal battle between QB/Dolson”. Again it may be true but could it also be staged to steer a narrative that Quinn isn’t the bad guy? And then end with “That’s all for now”? To me it seems like somebody’s directly wanting to send THEIR message.
