Is it tho? I mean I get it from the standpoint of any W is good. But this is a SC team that is going to finish what 8 or 9 in the SEC? This type of performance is why I picked IU to finish mid of the pack in the big 10. They have different faces on the team this year, but many of the same issues. Woodsons stubbornness to do things his way is going to be the downfall of him.

That is awesome! I love how he got out in front of any future speculation of other programs. It seems he is truly happy to build things here. Lets GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Maybe not "low character" per say, but the reports of how Woodson dealt with the womans program last year is unacceptable, and I cannot support such nonsense.

I want to believe like you Trav. I have confidence in Dolson, but I just fear that his hands have been tied on the basketball side of things. I think he has a good idea of what he would like to do with the basketball program, I am just not sold on the fact that he has the freedom to do those things. And if Woody has a decent to good year this year I am not sure he has the freedom to do anything but continue to support Woody.

I have never wanted Dolson fired. Even before this great hire on the football side. I want Dolson to be given the opportunity to hire a basketball coach that is completely his responsibility. No more input from Buckner or anyone like that. Dolson go find the right person for this job. If he makes a good hire for basketball and football continues to do well then he will be a hero around the state for years to come.

I was super nervous about this game. I thought this might be the week things start to come back down to earth. I never dreamed we would play this well against a quality team and defense. I thought maybe if things went well we might sneak out a 38-34 type of win. Goodness what a great game. Keep the foot on the gas guy!

Great first half. But don't get complacent. Nebraska has a really good coach, he will make adjustments at the half. I would expect some different things in the second half. Need to stop them on the first drive of the half and put another score in the endzone to take their heart.

I would love to believe that Woody could have a great season and then ride off into the sunset. But I just cannot see it. The man I have watched and listened to over the last couple years has an ego that would not allow something like that to happen. In his mind IU cannot move forward without him at the helm right now. He is still young enough that he will think he has another few years left in the tank and if things are going well he will want to be in the drivers seat.

Take Underwood out of that group. He in no way deserves to be mentioned with either of them. He is crazy overrated now for some reason. He is an average coach at best.
