I dont think that is true. He has spoken highly of Smart, Chaney, Woodson and Fife. Alford is obviously his first choice, but I think he would be happy with any former player.

I would be better with it than just Woodson, but that is never going to happen. Fife has a great place at MSU right now and can wait on Izzo to be done. No need to move laterally to IU.

Let's not go overboard on the Moser love. He has had a nice run this year and their previous final four run. But let's not forget that they lost in the first round of the MVC as a 1 seed and failed to make the tournament another year with a loaded team and the reigning player of the year in the MVC

I want nothing to do with Woodson. I would much rather have Alford and I am not really a fan of getting Alford.

Is it really treating him fairly to get rid of him when you are not sure the main guy you want will even take the job....especially with the line of thinking that they would not have fired Archie if they didnt think they could get Stevens.

I have a question. If Dolson had reason to believe Stevens was really interested in this job then why would you not wait until the end of the NBA season to launch Archie?

I like Fife and would be happy to have him as the coach. But that video makes me want to gouge my eyes out. That is not helping him at all.

The style of play stuff always amazes me. I could care less about style of play. I care about Ws. Play any style you want but get Ws. Playing hard. Make adjustments. Have a good relationship with players. Those things are way more important that a style of offense.

The half the fan base stuff is way over blown. Aside from Stevens no matter who they hire some are going to be mad and threaten to abandon ship. But we all know that isn’t happening and for the few who maybe do a few wins and they will be right back.

Actually I think he would do just fine. I would be more worried about his coaching experience if it were not for his time next to Izzo. There is a reason some think he will take over Sparty when it’s time. That don’t sound terrible to me.

How do we know Fife is terrible? I think we could do a lot worse. He is not my first choice but if Dolson decides he is the guy that is fine by me.

That is not fair and not true. 0708 has done a good job of being as real as possible here, and he doesn’t deserve ignorant shots like this

I do not have #2 in mind and that is because of Dolson. I have been very impressed with him and I have confidence that he wants to get IU basketball back to where it belongs. So I am going to wait and see what he does and be completely happy with the guy he chooses to take over the program. For the first time in a long time I think we are in good hands.
