Sadly the difference is Kentucky is a real basketball school. Indiana no longer is and just lives in the past glory of a great coach and all the memories.

I know he ultimately wanted Alford, but I recall an interview he did with Woody right after the hire and he just gushed about getting an IU guy and such.

I have really wanted this Woody thing to work, but it is just is not going to. Sadly we will be looking for another coach to come in and provide us all some hope. There is no way this is a tournament team this year. The only question left to answer is if they will give him one more year or move on after this year.

I am sick and tired of hearing about how good Edey is. The dude is just gigantic and no one can really do anything with him. I just hear them use the comparison of Wilt Chamberlain. Give me a freaking break. That is insulting to an all time great. Edey will be lucky to sit the bench in the NBA for a couple years. In another broadcast I heard them make an argument for him being the greatest Purdue player of all time. It is stupid. There is no way he is better than the Big Dog at basketball. Again, he is just big and can lay the ball in from the post. I cannot wait to see Purdue flame out in the NCAA tournament again this year.

Mike hart? You have to be bleeping me! I am actually really intrigued by the idea of Randle El. But I would prefer a guy with head coaching experience. Herman would be my preference from the names I have heard so far. But we have to do better than Mike Freaking Hart.

The big 10 tournament and the big dance are going to be wild. I would say there are a huge group of teams right now that could find their way to the final four and who could lose in the first round.

That was an ugly win, but a win that I will gladly take. I am not sure Indiana deserved to win it. Missed FTs. Bad turnovers. Looked like our feet were in concrete for a good part of the game. But they found a way to win. I think Woodson has done a good job these last few games of getting the most out of them.

I love this idea and really hope that IU goes that route. I can't see Woodson being interested in staying many more years. I would think he would consider it important to being able to help stabilize things and then be able to pass the torch to the next guy. Michigan? Did someone say Michigan. Shut your mouth!!
