IU is the one that shot themselves in the foot, but it is Purdue’s luck to face a 9 seed without one of its best players, a 13 seed on its 4th game in 4 days, and a 10 seed on its 4th game in 4 days for the BTT title. -

We are using today as an example that has been a microcosm for his tenure. He sticks with the older guys far too long even if other guys are playing better (i.e Miller, Race, Parker). -

This is eerily similar to the IU women’s team in the tourney where it may be a blessing not to play in the Final. Extra rest and likely would get beat up in the Final to a team we all despise. Emotional reprieve. -
