Buzzards vs purDouchebags: Not a fan for either of either of these teams, but the game is enjoyable to watch.

The mental growth of this team in the past 2-3 weeks has been phenomenal. We're gaining confidence, we're playing together, and if 1 or 2 more shots go down a game, it's an entirely different record. Really proud of the team, including Woody on what how they've turned it around from years past. There was a LOT of mental baggage being carried around by the bulk of the team from the last few years. I think it's gone now. New era of IU ball has begun !

Don't lose sight of the fact that we have 3 starters that never played for IU, and haven't experienced what IU ball is all about. (Kopp kind of did, but not in any ownership fashion). Competitive in all but a couple of games all year. Defense improved greatly thruout the year. Offense was (and is) slow to come, especially without TJD. I think the future is bright, and I'm really proud of these guys. I think we'll make some noise in the Big Dance.

IF....we win the BTT this year, I keep wondering if TJD might think about coming back for Sr year to try to win the whole thing ! (I know, it's far reaching, but why the hell not?)

I wouldn't bet on that... I didn't think Hightower was bad, Burr was too animated, and not sure about Bain.

The 2 Rob's are horrible. Scirotto is almost ok. So it'll be at least 7 against 5 all day.

Don't have a clue who will be on Keegan Murray, but I'd love to see a tag team of Gallo & Geronimo frustrating the crap out of him all game long.

In the 1st game against IL, TJD tried to play Kofi's game of bang, bang, bang, and out muscle him. This game, he played TJD ball with his quickness and athleticism. Totally different look. So happy for TJD and the guys.

It's not that I don't believe you guys, I'm just a pessimist. I'm as hopeful as I can be, but until I see the name on the board on Sunday, I'll still have my doubts. The thing that is nagging at me is that while we don't have any bad losses, we played pretty lousy (read 5 game losing streak). Yes we were competitve in most of them, but we lost 7 out of 9 (I believe) at the end. The BTT has helped, no doubt, but I see a team like Rutgers who were giant killers down the stretch, and we were on the struggle bus. On the bright side, IF the committee does take injuries into account (big IF), then they have to give us some relief for Trey & Rob being hurt for essentially ½ the season. Hope you guys are right, and a bunch of surprise tournament winners don't emerge from other conferences and take our bid away.

I wish I could be as confident as you, but I don't see them taking 9 B10 teams.

Don't know if you guys caught it on the post game "desk commentary" with X, but Raphael made this statement: "I played and Purdue and I will be a Boiler for life, but how 'bout them Hoosiers?!?" Thought that was pretty classy of him considering the rivalry.
