What can you possibly learn as a team from a game like that? How (not) to schedule? I realize that getting games at the last minute if Covid affected the schedule have an impact, and you want your guys to play against someone other than teammates, but jeeze...

This team is a work in progress. We're no where near where Woody wants us, and he's said so many times. The good news (to me) is that I see progress in each and every game. Once we play a full 40 minutes, we'll be tough to beat, assuming Woody gets them to improve a little each week. Rome wasn't built in a day (credit to TJD)

Let's not forget that the team is learning a NEW defensive scheme, with new coaches, with new demands. And oh, by the way new players too. Considering the huge transformation in both defense and offense, I'm not going to rain on their parade just yet. (not saying you are, JSH). It's a learning curve. I think the team has made great progress from last year. Are we perfect? No. But I see improvement almost every game.

It sure does. The guys over came a LOT of adversity. Some of it their own doing, some not. There is a lot to take away from a game like this, and I trust the coaching staff will drive it all home. Last year's team would've folded after the tech on Stewart. (BS call by the way)

Try using a VPN is Fox (not fox sports) is available in your guide. I'm blocked out down here in SC, but using a VPN I get the feed.

Both sides are playing hardball on the renewal contract. I think Google (YT) has more clout and more subscribers than cable these days. It will get worked out. It's like the union guys going on strike. Eventually they work it out.

I had FUBO that had the channels we wanted (Hallmark for the wife, sports for me). Then FUBO jacked their rates 7% without any notice, just charged my CC more all of a sudden. XL'd them in a heart beat and went to YTTV. YT recently added the Hallmark channels so wife is happy. Sports, and Fox Business are on their so I'm happy (almost). No kids for us, so Disney is a non-issue.

Between this quote and TJD's, it sure looks like the guys aren't burying their heads in the sand. Maybe even pi$$ed them off a little that they didn't win. Would be nice to have a chip on our shoulders for the next several games.

I was just going to post the same thing. He's objective (read...NOT like Jay Bilas), doesn't get too hyped up like Dickie V, and really knows his stuff.

"Has Syracuse been suffering attendance issues like a lot of programs have this year?" For the 3 games I watched, it wasn't even close to ½ full. There were plenty of empty seats in the first 10-15 rows, even behind the benches and media table at half-court. But when IU comes to town, it'll probably be one of their better attended games. They may still be pissed at our NC against them.

It will be interesting to see if any other team tries to run us into the ground like Marshall did. Seemed to work for a while until Woody made some adjustments. Cuse doesn't run all that much. That will be a completely different kind of test. We'll see how well me move without the ball in that one against their zone.
