I wish that Matta was totally healthy and ready to get back into coaching. To me this would be the best of the rest we could get.

I would say IU talked to Brad's representatives about the interest and said he was interested. Dolson and the administration talked with him and offered a great deal and probably asked to have a few days to think about it. In the end he decided to stay and get a huge raise. I have been the one the whole time saying he wouldn't want to coach in college again but I thought this had legs.

I hope he doesn't offer 7 mil to anyone else because that is way to much for any of the other candidates

I did the same thing on Facebook friend who is a Purdue guy who were making fun of IU. I said all the IU jokes will be over in a few days after we hire Brad Stevens. I wonder if IU will never get back to where we want it.

I guess once again I fell for what people who said to be insiders like I did with Billy Donovan but no more. I really thought this was going to happen but after hearing Stevens today it never was close to happening. I think some of these guys are probably sitting back laughing at this fan base knowing we will believe anything that is positive.
