  1. That wouldn't have been Clifton Moore in 2014. It was a freshman Jones who had a great game. JBJ was the best player on the court that day.
  2. Well back when I was a sophomore in high school one of our players mother died in a cat wreck. In the sectional against New Castle one of their players was talking about the players mother. That player was going up for a layup when one of our players just shoved him into the first row.
  3. I have noticed that the NBA coaches are no longer wearing suites. I have never understood why basketball coaches ever wore suites in the first place.
  4. Besides the OSU and the Maryland game I thought the defense played well enough to win. We have thrown 3 pick 6's and also the offense had given other teams a short field.
  5. The turf today is a lot better for the players than the old Astro turf which was just on top of a cement floor.

Where does IU Football go from here

Hope McCulley is the QB of the future. Hope the 3 freshman WR and Cooper in this year's class can upgrade that position. We have to find some OL in the portal Have to find an OC and OL coach that will be creative. We have to reload the RB position. Hope guys like Mullen and McFadden comes back next year.

IU was the first college in the country to implement a strategy for the NIL over a year ago
  8. This offense did score 35 last week against a bad team

We were the first program to implement a plan for the NIL and that was way before this became a rule

(2022) - PF Noah Clowney to Alabama

I remember Rabjohn saying he talked to recruits who said they didn't want to play the big ten style of play.

I wonder if the big ten reputation of being so physical and a slower pace was the main factor. Most bigs in the big ten are not as athletic and just more physically opposing. You don't see many tall and slender big guys so Clowney probably looked at that.

For us old guys he sounds like a bigger version of Jay Burson of OSU

It would have been great landing Clowney but it is not like we lost a Greg Oden. He was ranked in the 60's and would have been a great building block but probably is not a program changer either.

I am just saying it was not in the public eye lime it is today. I was a senior in 89 and a huge college basketball fan but didn't hear about that recruiting class until signing day.
  16. Every team played through the Vivid year so was every team that won lucky

What is bad he will get credit for a correct pick even though he changed it at the lady minute.

I remember the first time I heard what our 89 class was reading it in the Indy Star on signing day. That class was probably the top class IU has ever had.

I wish recruiting can go back to the day when you found out about your recruiting class on signing day. I always get sucked in by these so called inside sources but I will not listen to all of these guarantes
  21. To go along with the freshman WR's Williams, Bennett and Smith
