If you have watched Gonzaga and Chet Holmgren is rail thin. At least last night he struggled with playing bigger and stronger players -

I just think the lack of offense had finally caught up with the defense. Early on I thought they played well enough and we should have beaten UC and MSU. If we can bring in a good OC and oline coach then I think we can be competitive. We need McCulley to step up and be a good QB or hope our freshman QB on this class can come in and play. For us to get back to being competitive we need an overhaul in the oline. -

And how many of those 19 has played in every game this year. We are actually down to the 4th QB and today was down to our 5th running back. Our two nest DB's had not been healthy for the last 6 games. Again I am not happy at this year at all but saying Allan should be fired is just very stupid. -

The same Rutgers program we have beaten 5 straight times. We also beat those same teams last year that Purdue beat. Also MSU is not one of those unbeatable teams. -

I would bet even if Urban Myer was the coach he would struggle to win over 8 games at IU. He wouldn't be able to bring in the same level of recruits that he did at OSU or Florida. Until IU can keep players. like Curry in state we will never get highly ranked out of state players. If it is so easy to win here then why have I only seen like 9 good years in 51. -

Also do you watch college football in 2021 because if you did it is an uphill battle for programs like IU to ever win consistently. No matter what, the best we can hope for is to finish 4th in our division. Every year you see the same teams with top 20 classes in the country. Under Allen IU has been in the 30's most of the time. -

The thing is those recruiting classes you talked about were still some of the higher rank classes IU has had I think some of you are just to young to remember what IU football has been. I am 51 years old and the 8 wins two years ago turf for the most wins in my lifetime. Last year's 6 conference wins is the most in my lifetime. I am as upset about this season as anyone but I don't put this all on Allen. If you just look at the talent on this roster and compare it to other IU teams in the past it is a lot better. -

Should have told the voters who named him the coach of the year last year. I don't buy that we had an advantage over every other team in a covid year. Our two biggest wins were at home with no crowds. Usually to pull of an upset you need that home crowd to help you but we beat both PSU and UM without a crowd. -

I just think there is a ceiling for programs like IU college football. College football is not setup to allow a lot of teams to be successful like you can in basketball. I think even some how a Urban Myer came to IU I don't think he could even have IU competing for a championship. -

Actually the last two years has been more than ok especially for a program lime IU. IU football had been one of the worst power 5 programs in college football do what coach Allen has done the last two years deserved a raise. It is not like we could bring in a top HC if we make a change. -

Going forward we need to schedule 3 home cupcake games and no more scheduling UC. We all know we can't compete consistently with OSU,UM,PSU,UW and Iowa. I see our ceiling being an 8-4 team but mainly hoping for a bowl bid. -

The thing is a lot the points we have given up was due to our turnovers on offense. I think we have given up 4 pick 6's and today our turnovers put the defense in bad shape. -

I never understood anyone saying that going to the championship game was a bad thing. Look at how many very good coaches or programs that has never been to a final four.

No such thing as a bad win

When I went to the OSU football game I had no problem getting to Bloomington from Indy. I just took 67 past Martinsville and then got onto 69. -
