I root for the Colts and they blown 3 double digit leafs in the s cond half and lost. The Pacers blew a 26 point lead at Charlotte on opening night

Sure will be here just like I was when Archie didn't work out. Never said it was a great hire but no reason for ripping the guy already.

Pretty sure they didn't coach together. Coach Alan was at Arkansas St 2011 bell was there 14-15. What not do research before spouting off non sense.

I have been a fan for 50 years and have seen a lot worse seasons than this one. The four years before this season is one of the better 4 years stretch in IU football history. What purpose does ripping on recruits who decides to play at IU. Also why not wait to make a decision on this hire. When you go in with a negative attitude you will never change your viewpoint and find anything to back that viewpoint.

Because posters like you guys make it hard to read this board. It is no fun being around negative people all the time

I don't think anyone is saying this is a great hire but why not let it play out before you bash the coach. It does no good for the program to have this reaction.

This is just sports and supposed to be an escape from your everyday life. If it makes you this miserable maybe find something else to do. -
There has been plenty of good coordinators that wasn't good as a HC. So to me his record as a HC had no effect on his ability to be an OC.

You guys must live miserable lives being so negative all the time. You would be happier and healthy looking at things in a more positive light. -
I find it hilarious how people on a message board has any clue whether a hire is good or not. Most couldn't even tell you who most of the assistant coaches are let alone how good they are. I know if is part of being on these boards but some of you guys need to get a grip and let things play out before jumping to conclusions. I guess I need to realize there will be plenty of people bitching no matter the hire.

You need to go back to the championship teams under RMK and see he used a very short bench. During the pandemic I watched a lot of old games and a lot of times he only subbed when a guy got his 3rd foul in the first half. -
Bama will be #1

I couldn't care less which player gets the back up minutes at PG I just want the one that gives us the best chance to win. Like it or not right now coach Woodson thinks that is RP. We are 7-1 with the only loss a double OT on the road. If Woodson came out tomorrow saying that the backup will be Lander then I am fine with that. The coaches know their team a lot better than we do so whatever they decide then I am fine with it. Coaches are going to do what is best for the team and what is best for winning. With the job security in college basketball they won't be doing anything that would cause them to lose. -

I would rather see our rotation cut to 8 at the most 9 so there will be players not getting minutes. I never liked when a team tries to play a lot of Ayers so they make them happy. If you sub to much then it is harder to get in a rhythm and it causes a lot of lapses in games. I know when I played and was acting well the last thing I wanted is to be taken out of the game. -
Or the SEC stepped in and said Alabama wins so we get two in the playoffs

I still trust him more than Lander especially in late game situations. He hit one game winner at the buzzer and at least 4 others where he hit the go ahead shots late in the game or OT. I have not seen much from Lander this year that says he should get more PT. A lot of his numbers came late in a blow out win. He was saying against backups of a really bad team. -

I remember Coverdale's freshmen year and wondered why he didn't get any playing time. He was a Mr. Basketball and usually those guys contribute early. Read things later that Coverdale was not ready to play at this level early. Heard he was not doing well in practice so those was the reasons he didn't play -

No one is perfect but will still trust him right now until proven wrong. Us fans are not at practice and have no idea what his work ethic is. Does he watch a lot of tape and stay after practice working on his game. Is he practicing well and earning the playing time. -

Believe me that Lander is not even close to being that caliber of players. When he committed to us I watched his films and really was not overly impressed with him. I thought he was truly overrated and wasn't near a 5 star player. Also it was a huge mistake for him to give up his senior year of high school.
