For most people there are more important things than just wins or losses. If suspending these players change the culture around IU basketball then it will be worth it. I hope it shows that stupidity and terrible decision making will not be tolerated at IU. -

I just can't believe there are people who is questioning punishing these players. Kind of worries me because this society is going downhill because people are not accountable for their actions. I had to go to the office a couple of times in 4th grade and the second time got a paddle. That was the last time I ever had to go to the principal office. Did I Like getting paddled, no but I learned from it. -

This team plays with a lot of effort and effort is not a problem with this team. If you listened to Woodson in his press conference he talked about having tbe shooters stationary. He wants to post TJD and have shooters lime Stewart stationary fir kick out shots. -

I would bet you are very young and haven't dealt with real punishment. One breaking curfew is against team rules, plus weed is illegal in Indiana which made them breaking laws. Also I had coaches make everyone run even though.one person made the mistakes. You are a team and when a few break the rules everyone pays. -

What is bad is this year with the top of the big ten being down was a great opportunity to do something. I have watched other conferences and the top of the SEC and big 12 are better than the big ten. Also I think the bottom of the league is weaker this year compared to the last few years. In our 9 losses we have had the lead in the second half and some real late into the second half. I just don't see a dominant team in this league do if we could have closed out games better we could be competing for a top 4 finish. -

I think we win this game -
I just can't stand watching the NBA and if you like it that is fine to. I. Will watch some Pacers game but can't remember the last time I watched a whole NBA game that the Pacers didn't play in.
-
I even think the average at the rim is pretty bad. If you are at the rim you should hit most of those shots. I just think now with analytics saying only shoot at the rim or a 3 makes it so much easier to guard. If they know you will go all the way to the basket the defenders will just camp out in tbe rim. With long and athletic bigs it makes it harder to shoot over it seemed like old IU teams would shoot well over 50 percent from all 2's which included a lot of 15 foot shots.
-
I guess I will agree to disagree with you on this.
-
Can't stand the NBA and how the players run things. I hate load management and seeing soft players sitting out two weeks with a hang nail
-
Just going off memory but I don't remember seeing this many missed shots within 10 feet that we see on today's basketball.
-
I think what people are saying if Galloway is starting that probably means we won't be great as a team. We are not saying Galloway is not important and isn't good but if IU is to be a great team he would be coming off the bench.
-
Maybe what I was thinking was that he wasn't a 5 star ayer. I thought his final rankings were on the 30's which usually don't get you in tbe McDonald's game.
-
To me I would compare Galloway to a Steve Eyl from the 87 team. He was very good off the bench bit was very limited on the offensive end. He provided a good spark off the bench with his defense and ball handling. Didn't score much but provided good minutes on a championship team. When he started the next year he just wasn't as reliable than he was on the bench.
-
Bryant wasn't a McDonald's AA
-
In the lane shots are atrocious
-
Nothing wrong being a good bench player and who knows their roles. To me if he was a knock down shooter then he could start but his shooting is what limits his play.
-
I am sorry but Trey shouldn't be starting on a good team. He is a very good role player and is better suited to come off the bench.

I know it probably is different but everybody was picking UW 10th this year after losing 4 of their top 5 players. -
We have to win those easy ones because we can't afford bad losses. I think we have to beat Maryland and Minnesota and I feel we need to win the rest of the home games.
-
I don't think it is a coincidence that no big ten recruits ate playing in tbe McDonald's AA game. The big ten should be embarrassed at the product that we see on the floor in big ten games. They also should be embarrassed by the quality of the refs on the conference. It is ugly basketball and top players don't want to play this style of basketball.
