What happened to the MAAC tournament, it use to always been on tbe Tuesday of championship week. It usually is one of my favorite mid major tournament.

Not sure how many more big guys will be in the big ten next year. I think Kofi is gone and probably Dickenson as well. Edey might be the only real big man next year.

Why would Lewis be any better of a candidate. Fife at least has been a head coach before.

That game is what makes championship week so special. It is the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat

Also the SEC has always been dirty which gave them some advantage. That is the one thing the big ten and IU could hold over SEC and UK is that we didn't have to have bag men to win. Don't tell me that RMK cheated because with how much the Indy media hated RMK they would have found out. They would have dugged into if there was any rumors of guys getting paid

Because I don't think that is what college sports are about. If I want to watch pro basketball I would watch the NBA.

You always had transfers. Also like it or not our history is what it use to be and that is not on Woodson. I hear people say we need to forget the past and move on from it So if we are just going by the near past and present why is the expectations for IU so high. It is because of the past and not what IU is today.

I don't have a problem getting money from public appearances or doing some tweets. There needs to be a limit on the amount you can get from them. What I don't like is giving players cars or giving parents no show jobs or jobs they don't qualify for

I am saying that making coaching changes ever few years hasn't worked since we have had 6 coaches in 21 years. We have 4 AD's and 4 presidents in that time. Everybody that was around when RMK was fired is gone so I don't by the argument that the administration is hiding us back. I think we have seen how fans being impatient and turning on coaches after a year or two hasn't solved the problem. So why not get behind the program and be for the program instead of being against it.

Bruce Pearl record after 3 years at Auburn was 44-54 so what was his problem those first 3 years.

My daughter was on a full ride which came to $26,000. After her first year she moved off campus so didn't have a dorm. She also didn't get a food plan the last 3 years. So all the money that went to the room and board went directly to her. At the first of each semester she received around $10,000. She was able to pay for her apartment and all of her food. I never had to help her out with money in her 4 years on Bloomington. Athletes also get around $1000 a month for housing so there is no way they should have any problems buying good

You act like we are 8-22 and getting beat by 25 points every game. We have been in every game in the second half but just don't have enough to finish the games off. We should be like 23-8 and we wouldn't be having this discussion. Luckily for guys like coach K and Dean Smith they didn't start their careers in today's instant gratification society. They would have been fired after year 3 and would have never seen two of the greatest coaches of all time.

Yes they did because they got $50,000 plus a year in scholarships and everything else associated with being a college athlete. If they want to get paid go play professionally and leave college basketball for guys who want to play college basketball. I think the stupidest things I ever heard was when they were crying how college athletes had no money to eat on which was a bunch of crock. With scholarship money and stipends there is no way they should have been without money. Also I don't think individual players bring in the money but it is the name on the front that brings in the money. Players come and go but the brand stays the same.

Cracks me up when people come on here and say the administration is trying to keep IU from having a great basketball program. I am pretty sure IU had the largest recruiting budget on the big ten. We put Millions of dollars into upgrading the arena and facilities like the practice facility and locker rooms. We pay our coach in the top 10 in the country. If what was reported we offered to make Brad Stevens the highest paid coach in college sports.

I never seen so many drama queens in my life as there are on this board.

I love college basketball but things like this is starting to make me rethink how I feel about it.

I don't think you can entice kids with actual deals until after they signed. Actually schools are not supposed to be part of the deal in anyway
