Why are we discussing coaches? We were just in first place. We're close guys.

So depressing.

It would be great if for once, just once the President and the BOT stayed the hell out of the hiring process and let the boosters go out and hire who they want.

Why you think that? He's like Tom Crean after a dozen diet cokes but a great coach too.

He's old not necessarily lazy. He also never had to recruit in the NBA.

Sure sounds like they know the end is near.

You keep doing it until you finally get it right. There is no curse against the program. The fact is the Indiana administration keeps making abysmal hires. Mike Davis wasn't even remotely qualified. Got fired then went to UAB where he was horrible and got fired there too. Been at tiny D1 schools ever since. Sampson was a great coach and didn't get fired because of his performance. Crean got fired then went to Georgia, a huge school with enormous resources and top notch in state recruiting. Was completely awful and got fired again. Archie got fired and is now at RI and while it's only been 2 years he's winning 36% of his games. Will likely get fired in the next couple years there too. It's 100% the administration.

It's still beyond belief to me that Dolson got the job when Pat Kraft was available. Most inept athletic department in college sports history.

He should sit in Armond Hill's seat. Hill should go back to the NBA. I can't think of a single positive thing he's contributed.

That was sarcasm. Calbert is my all time favorite player. There's not much he can do in his current position. And as a kid growing up our neighbor was a math teacher at Harrison and had Calbert in class. Always had nothing but great things to say about him.

It shows. Our players know how to shoot and play D just like he did.

There's a guy out there who could possibly be the best Xs and Os guy in the league on day 1. He's available and would be cheap. Would kill it with those 3 star recruits Brad had at Butler. Did I also mention that his wife is a lot of fun at games?

Could probably convince Woody to go quietly but would require a big buyout. He's not walking away from $10M.
