Many of us have supported the program our whole life. We supported Davis who we knew wasn't remotely qualified. We supported Crean who we didn't really like and didn't think was a good coach. We supported the absolutely mind blowing hires of Archie and Woody at least for the first few years. When Crean was pulling guys off the baseball team to field a full roster AH was still selling out. We have done our part. Get this hire right or we are done. Sorry not sorry.

I just think the odds of something going wrong are a lot higher if they hire a Brownell vs a Wade or Beard. The fans are absolutely done with this administration. Really never seen anything like it.

I think most of us would prefer a Xanax at this point.

Yes I am sure he would. Coach May would you have preferred the IU job? Oh yes definitely. Indiana will always be my first choice but until they offer I'm stuck with Michigan.

To understand their mindset you have to think like IU. They believe the only reason Woody failed is because he didn't have college experience. Brownell has that. So in their mind he's a sure thing when he is anything but.

We do this every time. News starts to break...we say it must be a smokescreen. Has to be...no one could possibly be this stupid. Then bam a little later we get the Osterman tweet with confirmation. It will be Brownell. The program is finished.

When they prove they can do something competent my tune will change. Spent 8 years at IU and I'm just saddened it's become what it has. Really sad. And there is zero reason to believe Dolson will make a good choice. Cig was not his first choice. And when Stevens fell through in 2021 his second choice was a crippled Thad Matta. A man with a back that is completely shot and one leg. Might have been a worse hire than Woodson honestly. What reason do I have to believe they will get this one right? We don't even need to get into Davis, Sanctions, Crean, and Archie.

He's the most likely hire. This is IU. Dumbest administration of all time.
