You claim to have insider info and have also said Stevens wasn’t realistic last time. My Dad knows one of our 8 figure donors pretty well and he always has his finger on the pulse. He told my Dad right after Archie was canned that we were getting Steven’s and it was nearly a done deal. The only potential roadblock according to him was Tracy. I don’t think you know anything.

How in the hell would they be on a hot seat? They are taking over a dumpster fire and will do their best the next couple months. There would be zero expectations.

Did you see what just happened to Caitlin Clarke? There are a lot of nuts out there and it only takes one. If this was Uk, Kansas, etc and their administration had treated its fans the way ours has been I guarantee you something would’ve happened by now.

I’m not surprised. You seem dense. Just look at X. A lot of crazies out there who have it out for the administration. Why risk a bad situation like what happened to the UHC CEO? People have had it. I’ve followed IU basketball for 40 years. I’ve never seen anything like it. The whole situation is a giant powder keg if they don’t move now.

Keeping him on until the season is over you risk something like a Dave Bliss situation that brings down not just the basketball program but the university. Why do that when we all know he’s gone? That’s some very inept and irresponsible management.

There is no point in keeping him employed for another day. There are so many bad things that could go wrong the longer he’s employed.

And you make it sound like that is going to continue. They never learn. The IU athletic department is the joke of the country. When I speak to people familiar with other programs they can’t believe how our university is managed. Incompetent beyond belief.

It’s going to get ugly. Extremely ugly and the administration will have no one to blame but itself when it does . We have a massive fan base that obviously includes some crazies who are fed up with being **** on by this administration for decades. He needs to announce his retirement now.

What would need to change? Our administration? Pearl is too old now btw. Beard would be a grand slam. I fully expect the administration to roll the dice on someone unproven once again. They never learn.

Outside of Brad who I doubt we can get, Beard is really the only sure thing. Dusty may very well work out but I’d also bet if hired there’s a 50/50 chance we’re doing another coaching search in 4-5 years.

We haven’t even played any of the top 9 teams yet and still have 2 horrendous losses.

The sad thing is once again everyone on the planet knew it was the obvious right move. Everyone of course except the Indiana administration as always. You cannot hate these people enough.
