Has Rabby addressed how unusual it is that Dolson is scheduling non-conference games for next season without consulting with his head coach? -

Lewis was on his original staff at UCLA, I believe, so I could see that. -

Maybe a good chance people re-think their Peegs subscription fees after this coaching search is over, lol. -

I'm not the world's biggest fan of Cronin, but i could see Dolson really liking him given the basketball environment he was part of at IU. I could also see Cronin bringing Fife back as an assistant. I think the two of them would get along very well. -

I get what you’re saying, but if it’s not a blip on anyone’s radar, why the need for Goodman to tweet anything, smokescreen or not. -

That would require hiring a guy young enough and good enough to coach here 15-20 or so years. And I agree, I hope we do. -
They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

I wonder if that really would have cost him anything. He doesn’t seem to be worried about quitting his media obligations, and that’s a bigger chunk of his salary. -
They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread
IUHoosierJoe replied to Banksyrules's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
A couple questions, 1. Was Woodson not aware of our procedure that we don’t evaluate and make decisions on coaches during the season? 2. Why didn’t Woodson just quit effective immediately? -

I don’t think he has the energy to recruit like he used to. IMO, when he was really successful, he was collecting a lot more talent than other teams at his level. Early at Ohio State, he was a very aggressive recruiter who collected a ridiculous amount of talent. When that fell off, so did his winning percentage. -
They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread
IUHoosierJoe replied to Banksyrules's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
What process are you referring to? Could it be the process that the coaching situation won’t be addressed until after the season unless Woodson has a health condition or violates a rule? Is it that process? -
Unfortunately, there probably won’t be any. My son is a freshman at IU. He attended it and they didn’t allow any pictures or recording.

I‘ve seen speculation from a sportswriter in Boston that it may be $6-8 million. Nobody really knows because the Celtics have never said. -

I guess the best answer to your question is yesterday Kansas Hoops Chat tweeted its top three coaches to replace Bill Self, and Dusty May was one of the three. -

It’s been talked about many other places besides this board. If not, why the need for Goodman’s tweet? -

“If Miller won” is the whole point. He didn’t. And there are good reasons why he didn’t even though he came from a winning culture. -

It’s a few posts above here. I sort of jokingly speculated that they were coming here as coach and coach in waiting based on the flights that were tracked last week.
