So I just got back from getting my first COVID shot, and I was sure while I was away the Brad coming to IU news would have came out and I would have to sift through a 100 pages of posts. Now I will go back to my regularly not getting any work done and hitting refresh every couple minutes.

The calm before the storm.

When I was first married we lived in a beautiful area on the coast of N. Carolina. I loved it there. After a couple years my wife got homesick and missed family back in Indiana. Guess where we live now? From my experience and others I know, the wives almost always get their way with big life decisions. Hopefully Brad and Ainge know this as well.

Yep. I look at it like this... Brad will have IU competing for final fours/championships every few years like Knight did for most of his coaching tenure at IU and even when the talent level isn't that caliber, IU will still be making the tourney and perhaps winning a couple games. I think IU will be back to making the tourney every year instead of hoping we make it, like what has happened for much of the past twenty years.

So...did anybody get any work done the last three days? Others have mentioned it but It is really refreshing seeing all the IU fans coming together and excited for a change.

Agreed. But I can't imagine IU would offer 7-8 million a year and cheap out on the assistants if that is what it took to sign him up.

Brad Stevens is definitely one guy IU should have no worries offering a 10 year deal to. 10 years $80 million...done and done. Sign here please coach...

He did. Some friends and I had an encounter with him (Andrae Patterson was with him) in a bar in mid 90s. Lots of alcohol involved and he was hitting on a friends girlfriend big time. We ended up pulling our friend out of the bar before it escalated too far. It was probably a really good thing for our friend that we did ha.

If Brad Stevens agreed to meet with Dolson and Zeke in person, I have to believe the chances just vaulted to 50%. I don't think Stevens would waste their time, especially during a pandemic, if he didn't have at lease some interest and seriously considering what they have to say.

I like @chris007 post better where Dolson calls Brad first, second, and third putting on full court press and giving him every opportunity to take the job, then if he refuses call him again and if he still refuses call Scott Drew, then Beard.

Of course until I got the answer we all wanted! 8 ball never lies ha.

I can see lots of us are on edge waiting on news, so I will go ahead and consult my sure fire source... Will Brad Stevens be the next coach at IU?
