My response was to someone who was assuming TJD was staying. Brunk and Duncomb as our only bigs would be rough.

If we play 4 out 1 in, TJD, Brunk and Duncomb would be plenty of depth at the 5 in my opinion.

Caleb Love has no reason to transfer. He’s either going to the draft or he’s staying at UNC.

It’d be incredible if everyone stayed, but if I had to bet I would guess Geronimo and Race end up leaving, with Lander and Franklin returning. Then I think we’d still have like 3 openings for transfers.

Losing to OSU in the big ten tournament year 2 in what was essentially a play-in game for the NCAA tournament. More of a hindsight idea but losing that game was brutal.

CJ Gunn remaining committed could be a good sign about Armaan as well. Might also just be wishful thinking.

I bet he’ll go to Syracuse. His defense is terrible and a 2-3 zone can hide him a bit. Plus they need shooters.

If I remember correctly, he did land some 4 stats when he was at UConn. I’m not totally in tune with his recruiting resume though.

It looks like IU is finally looking to invest in these extra support positions. Seeing Matta get a created position and hypothetically adding Larry Brown to a support position give me a sense that the IU administration is really willing to give Woodson everything he needs to succeed.

I’m really happy Kenya Hunter is staying. I think he’s a fantastic fit here, and we can utilize him for out of state recruiting.

I’m 27 and I feel the exact same way. I honestly started getting a little choked up when I watched his press conference. It’s really exciting seeing a head coach who makes it obvious how much IU means to them.

Once they enter the portal their scholarship and roster spot isn’t guaranteed anymore.

I wonder if Knight will be coming to IU games next year.

I really hope Geronimo stays, but I’m worried that he really wants to transfer somewhere closer to home. He’s been my favorite freshman to watch and was looking forward to watching him turn into a stud at IU.

Call me a sucker, but I’m really buying what Coach Woodson is selling. My only real concern for him is that he’s 63. I think his NBA experience is only a positive, and I love having a coach who obviously understands how important this position is, and it’s so easy to see that it’s his absolute dream job. I’m looking forward to seeing a modern team.
