The media has hated us since Knight, I’m only 35 but I think you know what I mean by incidents, LSU fan, Puerto Rican Cop, Saying the media is two steps above prostitution, telling Connie Chung to lay back and enjoy (rape) if it’s inevitable etc etc. Coach Knight will be my all time favorite for a lot of reasons, some personal that were touching and kind but the national media couldn’t stand him and the way he kept winning. So now when we’ve been down most are just looking for revenge and want to shame the whole fan base because of bad jokes or past incidents and now have the ammunition.

Ok well those recruits didn’t pan out so I’m glad we didn’t attract them. How does not winning a tourney game since 2014 make the job attractive? We can agree to disagree its better to just let the thread keep going instead of rehashing old points. Cheers to a better program!

You can shout your theories but they’re still wrong. I could’ve been swayed about Texas at this moment but Arkansas has had one good season since 1996. That’s laughable to even compare the jobs. Altman covered up a rape try google on that before you say his name again. Reality is Arkansas has been to the S16 once in the last 26 years and has made the tourney way less than IU. Plus your last 20 years stats are do wrong I wonder if you’ve actually watched IU recently? Crean alone went to 3 S16’s plus our 2002 run. Maybe check up on that before you just spout straight lies.

Hahaha Well as a fourth generation IU alum I can tell you I’ve been plenty of places around the world fir work and prime see IU and say basketball and when they see Texas it’s football. They haven’t won a tournament game since 2014, but no mention of that, fired the only coach who had success, and haven’t made the S16 since 2008. So how does that scream better job? In the last 21 years the same amount of final fours and the success was under Barnes who they fired. So again how is it a better job? When did they last win a tournament game?

Well who cares about Miller ffs he’s the worst IU coach in a century and as a student at the time Sampson cheated yes it was a dumb rule and dumb to turn in but he clearly cheated when he was on probation so I don’t get why other coaches would listen to him anyway.

How? They can’t fill their arena when they’re ranked and it’s never ever going to come close to football. We’ve had more recent tourney success and we haven’t even made it in 5 years.

If they’d been in such serious negotiations why wouldn’t this be brought up and dealt with early nevermind just saw about the deal not being there

Last post on Woodson, I don’t want to put him down or anything but IMO he’s just not the right answer at this time for IU. We need a sure thing or as close as we can get because this program just needs to start becoming relevant again in the big ten let alone the ncaa tournament. Hope everyone has a good rest of the day I think I’ve gone crazy these past couple days with all the changing information.

Maybe you should read the thread, I said I’ve met Woodson nice great guy when I was at IU because a friend was living in his apartments he owned with May at the time. So don’t take some cheap shot at me saying I’m trashing Woodson. I’m saying his three winning seasons in 8 doesn’t look great for a candidate. Ive never thrown out any candidates so that last paragraph is just a cheap shot.
