two bigs(starting C and rotational big), one more wing(rotational) and another freshman(pair with sisley) or two minimum and I think we have ourselves a good squad. That would put us at 12/13 scholarship players.

if Drake commits, I like that he'll be a quality bench guard that has more than 1 year left of eligibility. He could grow into a starter as early as next year(2026-2027 season AND stick around for an additional year if i am not mistaken). So 2 years at JUCO, 1 year at Drexel, 2 years at IU seems plausible.

Leo Curtis will be 20 years old when he attends his first college semester. Yes, he is still a freshman but an older freshman. I like that.

I def think adding a guard as an incoming freshman would be a big plus. Gives you a guard, wing and big to try and start a core foundation to lean on moving forward if CDD truly builds a team between both the portal and high school route

UCF kid can be mixed in and out of the starter group with Bailey. UCF kid and Bailey are your first two bigs. I'd still like to see another big off of the bench though for depth purposes that is experienced and can split the time with Leo. Leo would be more developmental his first year with the hopes of taking a step forward going into year 2.

Tucker can be a legit 3 and D type of player. He showed some flashes in limited playing time. My biggest problem with Tucker was his fading away 17 ft jump shots time and time again. Rarely did he square up and go straight up. I'd gladly welcome him back to this squad.

if MM would have tried has hard on defense as he did when trying to get some taco bell after they closed, he would have been just fine here and likely a draft candidate here in a few months. His draft stock fell from year 1 to year 2 and I would argue it was because his defense went from near average to mostly bad. now, back to portals that have interest in IU lol

I am glad Wilkerson, Conerway and Miles all have finally decided to join me in my commitment to attending AH for this upcoming season but for much different reasons. While they're stroking the 3 ball, winning games and hitting game winners, I will be cheering with a drink in my left hand and a hot dog in my right hand while wearing the IU gear I picked up from Walsh yesterday evening. It is def cheaper getting them from a former assistant coach than Adidas lol You should try getting IU gear with an UA emblem. I have two quarter zips with Under Armor displayed that I picked up from the UA store at the fashion mall on the north side of Indy. I get asked at quite a few times at games how I picked those up
