I take back every bad thing I've ever said about Cupps defense. Every guard in D1 is gonna get blown by every now and then. He's got such a nose for the ball and very vocal/energetic.

100000% We gotta treat this one like a must win... need a marquee non-con win. It's this or Kansas. Ideally both.

Just like that, it's a game. Ware makes us such a different team. Don't love this lineup right now, but a nice bucket from Sparks.

Mack's getting better every game, but he's still gotta figure out how to sustain the intensity on D/both sides of the ball. Stay active on the boards. Move without the ball. Don't get caught ball watching... and his closeouts could be sooooo much better with all his length.

I hope we let Banks get into a good rhythm out there. I love his ability to get to the bucket

FGCU not being as good as expected this year is really disappointing with our metrics/rankings... Not really close with Minny rn. Illinois-Tennessee is a good game. 44-42 15:56 left. I don't care for Coleman Hawkins at all ... but I'd like them to get this win. The B1G seriously needs to get it together in the non-conf or it's going to make things a lot tougher for a lot of teams.

I honestly have no clue how this all shakes out, but it would be kinda hilarious for all these schools to just split into two super conferences and everything comes full circle where they split into regional divisions and just have a playoff format amongst themselves, then the two super conference winners play each other.... and they basically just cut out the NCAA to govern themselves. Lol. Don't know if that's realistic at all but it would be pretty funny... and help manage costs/bring back historic rivalries!

With the B1G being down, really important to strengthen our OOC resume as much as possible. Not a lot of opportunities for that aside from these next two games. I'm greedy.... want em both. Think we can get em both. I suppose I could live with splitting them Hope we see Kaleb drive it to the cup a few times again, that would be huge for our offense if he can do it reliably.

I don't think Mgbako returning is highly likely. Hope Banks gets his time to shine, he could be a stud upperclassman if he keeps progessing/getting more consistent.

I completely 100% get people not wanting Bloomington on the uniforms so prominently. We are THE Indiana Hoosiers after all... But I think it would be a nice homage to the IU school system to include the script Bloomington in a subtle place like the back of the shorts/waistband or sideline of the court... Again, just as an alternate concept. Not advocating for any of this to actually become part of the home/away jerseys or court for any home game other than MAYBE 1x every year or two

That, I think would look pretty awesome.

I will never forget in 2015 when we lost to Michigan 48-41 and lost a 2OT heartbreaker. The stadium was more insane than I'd ever seen it before and ever saw it since. On par with our basketball environments for sure, I was at the front of the student section and soooo ready to rush the field. I had my spot picked out and everything. I was gutted. I feel like that energy was a glimpse of what CCC will be able to recreate and I'm looking forward to it/happy the students will have a chance to see us actually win a game like that. We've got the $$ resources and, now the staff, to build a team worth getting excited for. That in itself has me pretty giddy. Sudfeld had a cannon on him. Jordan Howard was a beast.

I'm not as much of a football guy so not following as closely, but... I'm really looking forward to just turning on the TV in the fall and seeing an IUFB team that is well coached at a minimum, in terms of discipline and situationally. We're gonna have a talent disparity for a few seasons, but CCC knows what he's doing, so I'll just learn about the personnel once they're in fall camp. I have no expectation for a bowl game next year but would be very impressed if that somehow happens. Deion couldn't do it at Colorado. Getting to bowls consistently and the extra practice time that affords is HUGE in college football, I do know that much. So that should be the first goal... competing in the conference and all that will be a great phase 2. We'll see how quickly we get there. It's kinda crazy actually feeling confident we're headed in the right direction, after the tease that 2019/2020 were.
