I don’t mind being questioned at all, all I ask is if/when I’m wrong on things (not this one) that I don’t get a bunch of PMs basically calling me anything but a human. That’s what soured me on HSN, even though 90-95% of the board was/is great.

Mile (Ken) was a great man that I never met other than just the message board messages. Wish he was here to enjoy the future of IU because he was a true Hoosier!

I’m not going into complete detail of who I am and how I know things. The Sampson buyout was completely different then what was in the contract because of his infractions so there’s that on that side. My sources come from a few different levels in the AThletic Department. I’ve missed on several recruits and been right on several more when thinking they were coming to IU. On HSN i told them Archie was going to be fired and that the feelers were out out in January. That’s all your going to get, if it’s good enough you are welcome, if not sorry about your luck. LOL

I could see Ainge being a big hang up on this though just to be the jerk he is. Hope not but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Isn’t there always on any coaching change though? Most of the time good programs aren’t hiring guys that are out of work. Edit-oops quoted wrong post

Nobody knows when it will be announced. I guess he can still change his mind but Indiana isn’t talking to anymore coaches currently.

Timeline is still a little sketchy and so is his current contract with the Celts. He can’t just quit because just like Andrew Luck did, if he came back he would still be “owned” (for lack of a better term) by the team that has him under contract. It’s an odd contract but Boston fans being angry and playing like crap will help.

Oh I’m fully aware. That’s just part of it I guess. I’ve been around long enough on HSN to know some understand stuff changes and others will just say I made it up or something to that effect. Doesn’t bother me either way.

Same guy that told me Sampson was fired and told me the exact buyout amount 2-3 days before anyone knew anything told me. He doesn’t talk much but when he does, I’m all ears!

Belein isn’t going to just coach for a few months. Brad either takes the job or he doesn’t. He has to think this is probably his last opportunity to do so here.
