How does Race not get a touch two possessions in a row after Stevens gets his 4th? -

Glad to see “stop playing defense with your hands” was an emphasis during halftime -

Agreed but winning teams react and adjust. Our batch of low IQ missfits just keeps walking into the booby trap. We had an opportunity to put them out of the game in the last two minutes and failed miserably. -
Poetic justice is what it is. Purdue fans are the most inexplicably arrogant fan base in the country, both in basketball and football
-
Him and Jerry Palm must have a secret relationship. The only acceptable way Purdue gets in is to win out and get to the conference championship game. Anything else would be an absolute fraud. I get that IU had a somewhat weak non conference schedule but I’m getting tired of Purdue getting credit for losing to Marquette, Texas, Butler, and FSU. Either way, our guys need to realize Purdue is not a better team and go into Mackey to prove it.

Lunardi said today that even with a loss against Michigan they are still on the bubble and have a shot at an at large bid. This is utterly insane to me. Their only non conference win against a tournament caliber team is Virginia (who’s still on Lunardi’s bubble). When is the last time a 14-14 (7-10) team with three games, plus B1G tourney was still in contention? To put this in perspective, Purdue is now on both the NCAA and NIT bubble as teams with a losing record are not eligible for the NIT.

He wasn’t smiling at all and he made a “get outta my face” gesture with his hand when he said it. Anyone claiming they’ve seen Justin Smith smiling is a liar -

I noticed this as well and am happy to see he’s not a total scumbag but doesn’t change my opinion of him and his continuous bad attitude. He’s way to bad of a player to be this uncoachable and arrogant. -

I don’t even want to think about it. Feels like we never win here. Huge props to TJD and Race for doing the things it takes to win a game on the road. -

My guess is TJD is completely gassed. Otherwise he’d have tracked it down. -

No it wasn’t. Dumb play by Rob, he leaned into the screen with a chicken wing hanging out. Everyone on the court saw it instantly -

TJD implored Smith to dunk the ball in that situation to earn an and one to which Smith promptly replies “STFU”...cool man. Can’t wait for this kid to be gone -
He’s been the best player on both ends of the floor. It’s a shame he’s spent so much time on the bench
-
Because he gives effort I guess. He can’t shoot, dribble or pass so effort is about all I can come up with.

Phinnisee’s Defense is embarrassing
-
So why is Brunk getting minutes shooting 30%, turning the ball over and playing putrid defense while Davis, who hasn’t missed a shot, and can actually defend the post riding the pine? Archie’s lineups are absolutely head scratching
-
Our guards can’t/won’t pressure ball handlers and Michigan is taking full advantage of our bigs over hedging because our guards are so terrible at ball screen defense. Archie needs to make the adjustment at halftime to stop hedging and let them jack up 3s. We can’t win giving up wide open layups all day

Purdoodoo toiletmakers vs. THE Indiana Hoosiers (2/8 at 2:00 on ESPN)
KzooHoosier82 replied to HoosierAloha's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I mostly agree but if you give them away people who don’t really want them will take them and not use them/sell them. Making the kids pay something makes them vested in actually attending. I do think they should be cheap, kids who need assistance affording them should get assistance and they need to set up an online system for kids to exchange tickets and/or give away unused seats to students -

We have walkons at guard on this team. Convince me they can’t play better than this.
