Agree, we actually have a favorable schedule remaining. I hadn’t been paying attention, but MSU is crazy overrated. They’re 5-1 in conference: Wins - Minny (2), Neb, NW, PSU. Loss - NW. talk about a soft start.

XJ had to bring the scoring. He was the only option. TJD and Race dealing with Andre the Giant and no space to operate. Kopp/Stewart can’t create their own shots. XJ was our only hope. I wish I knew how to start a poll to see how many of us agree our starting five is brutal.

At some point the sample size has to be big enough to be hard for Woody to ignore that our starting five isn’t a good group. Tired of digging out of holes. Kopp/Stewart - bench. Geronimo/Rob/Bates - starting. Has to happen. Kopp and Stewart together are so unathletic and 1-dimensional on O. Woody is smarter than this.

This is one of those games you just have to grit your teeth and grind out the win and move on. Missing your best player. Unranked team but one that has a good win/loss record and would love to get a win over a top ten while they're down, refs making some questionable calls/non-calls, etc. etc. Just win ugly and get out of there.

Hearing Holmes might miss 1-2 games, but it isn't structural damage that would cost her the season.

Was otherwise obligated, but can’t wait to watch the replay. Big win for the program. Well done Lady Hoosiers.

Wouldn’t feel too terrible for the players. They still got to participate in the pre-game festivities and they got an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii, a place a lot of families have trouble affording. And I know for a fact some players historically would take the trip without having to play the game all day. Couple seniors maybe bummed, but mostly it’s a bummer for any fans that spent all that money to travel and didn’t get a game. Again though, they’re in Hawaii, so limits some of the sting there too. And at least they’ll get their money back for the tickets. The worse situation is the TX A&M withdrew. Those fans are in Jacksonville and have to try and sell tickets to a Rutgers fan last minute, or go watch two teams they don’t care about that is likely gonna be a blow out.

Fond memories of jumping down about 5 rows up the main section to rush the court when Haston hit that three to beat MSU in the Hall my sophomore year. Great player, better person.

With McCulley in tow, I always felt like we had a better chance with a portal QB with fewer years of eligibility. He got thrust into the first team too soon, but he still had a high ceiling. I actually feel better about Slovis jumping on board for two seasons in the B1G spotlight while McCulley matures.

Keep an eye on WR Jacob Copeland from Florida. He’s a Tennessee lean, but we’ve made an impression and if we can get the right QB in place it would impact his decision.
