Seems like so many are quickly abandoning any excitement we had to begin the season and just dogging this team for being 5-1 with no wins less than 14 points and beating a top 25 team by virtually 30. This team is still growing and gelling together and the injuries have halted our "growth" as of late. Getting McBob back is going to do wonders for this team and even though I'm not a big fan of Green, he's going to provide much needed depth at the guard position to give Rob a breather. Just relax, enjoy the game tonight, we're playing with house money tonight and nothing to lose. We will be getting McBob back tomorrow night and we have been missing his intangibles/defense/leadership mightily since he's been out. I don't think most realize that he's lead us in efficiency in the games he's played and nobody has come close to him. He's going to make a HUGE difference for us! He won't be rattled at Duke either having been there several times already to watch his brother. Is there a chance we try to play a 2-3 and have them beat us with the 3? Otherwise we risk them driving at will and JMo getting in quick foul trouble early. I think I'm more optimistic than most in this game and don't think we'll get killed as bad as most think. Frankie Vision doesn't understand that basketball is a team game and Romeo has decided to put "we" before "me" for the betterment/success of the team. Every team has a WTF game...and we just had ours...and WON by 14! Villanova lost to Furman at home, TCU lost to Lipscomb at home all this week...could be worse. We did this while being VERY short handed with limited rest between games. Get through the game on Friday and I'm hopeful we'll have more healthy bodies in time for Duke.
