    Let us be clear.. I have heard the term "dawg" used forever to describe a friend or what's up dawg, whatever. Just hadn't heard it used as in "someone who's nasty or mean or tough". Racial wise.. yes played AAU basketball with some teammates who were black, one went on to play football at IU actually. I played college football and coach HS now.     It's not used everywhere in sports. Mentality of a dawg, ok.. I can work with that. I'd like some of those guys on my team. And I agree.. we have been soft. Idk how you could draw the conclusion that those kids we've recruited and have had committed are soft though?
